Stayed May 25, 2026The Castle provided a fun and convenient place to stay in the heart of St. Augustine. We found the accommodations to be a good value for our group of 12 with seven bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. (The two king rooms share a hall bath, but all other rooms have their own.) The living space worked out well with a large round table for playing games. The kitchen has lots of counter space and has an updated clean feel. We liked the porch for having morning coffee and also sat outside in the Adirondack chairs. Parking was great too. Only negatives are lack of shelves/dressers/something to put things on in bedrooms and tiny sinks in some of the en-suite bathrooms. We had a minor issue while there, but it was addressed immediately. We had a great time and would rent this property again!

Stayed Dec 2, 2025Perfect place for a girls' trip to St. Augustine for Nights of Lights. Host was proactive and responsive with communication and the house was spotless and kitchen fully equipped. The house was even decorated for Christmas. It was the perfect home base for the 7 of us! Highly recommend.

Stayed Mar 2, 2025The good: great location, a 5-minute walk to Old City, plenty of beds and baths, clean, good kitchen (cranky stove). Areas that need improvement: The beds, mattresses, and pillows are just OK; they were comfortable enough but nothing in the house is luxurious. There is little to no bureau storage. Two bathrooms aren't too bad, but the ensuite bathrooms are cramped, and there is very little counter space to put your toiletries. There are no screens on the windows, so there is no fresh air. We're a family of 8. The house sleeps 14, the dining table seats 6, and the living room only seats 5 people. It wasn't conducive to fun family conversation.

Stayed Nov 7, 2024This was the perfect location/venue for my bachelorette trip. We could walk all over town from the location and it was extremely safe. The home is STUNNING and perfectly stocked for a large group. The history of the home was so cool, but it was also updated enough to be extremely comfortable. We had to reschedule due to a hurricane and the hosts were extremely helpful. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner and were very understanding. I wish I could give 6 stars!

Stayed Feb 15, 2024We had a group of 8 which this remodeled “castle” easily absorbed. You couldn’t find a more convenient place to stay; it is within walking distance of almost every site or restaurant you might want to visit. The parking spots associated with the rental were the “icing on the cake”!
