Stay at The Overlook - A Blueridge Mountain Getaway!

This home is super nice and the view is amazing! Everything was great and we had an awesome time. Would def go back!

We meet up with two other couples to enjoy the fall leaves, for a relaxing two days. The view is spectacular! Each couple had their own bathroom which was nice. The house has everything you could possibly need, a well stocked kitchen, soaps, lotions etc. The beds were super comfortable. As others have mentioned, It is very dark at night,the road is very curvy with steep drops down so we stayed in and cooked dinner both nights. If you are cooking in, you will need to bring everything you need, spices, oils, butter, foil, plastic wrap, napkins etc. This is pretty common with rentals, we just did not think it through. Dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels, sponges were all provided. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the overlook!

Very clean and comfortable. We've vacationed in the mountains many times. The view from this home is amazing, one of the best we've enjoyed.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home. It’s a breath of fresh air. Home is complete with everything a family could need. Missy has thought of everything. Everything about this rental was great; location, furnishings, kitchen equipment, property manager, and the view! The road to this property is very steep so we opted to eat in every night to avoid needing to drive in the dark. If you plan to cook meals, bring your herbs, spices, salt, pepper, etc. with you - none are available for use. We would definitely rent this property again if we return to the area.

The property was beautiful as described. The owner was attentive and accessible. The hot tub stopped working during our stay and the owner gave us a small refund. No complaints!

My husband, grandson and I were able to spend three days and two nights at the spectacular home. The View, quiet, comfort and wonderfully stocked house was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed at. Sitting on the porch crickets were the loudest noise heard. So beautiful and peaceful

It was close enough to the lake and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Communication with the owner was excellent.
