Stayed Sep 4, 2025We had a wonderful time here for a girls weekend. We found the house very accommodating, beautifully furnished and decorated and there were thoughtful extra touches that were much appreciated! The views were beautiful and the gentle slope to the lake was easy to manage.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025This was our second year staying at Villa di Lago and it did not disappoint. The house is just exquisite. Our family of 5 loved that that they each got their own private bedroom with en suite. Our dog loves jumping off the dock where we spent a lot of time enjoying the lake. The interior design of the house is next level. The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need for cooking to include crock pot, waffle maker, and blender. We spent the evenings either by the fire pit or on the screened in porch. We had such a relaxing vacation (we never want to leave, lol). Steve and Francia are great hosts as well, very responsive and just genuinely nice people. We look for forward to staying at this property again!!

Stayed Nov 25, 2024Our family decided to spend Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home on Lake Chatuge. The home was spacious and we liked the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom The house was well stocked and we had plenty of room to cook our Thanksgiving feast in the large open kitchen. It was only a short drive to neighboring towns so there was plenty to see and do. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Lago! Loved the four bedrooms-each with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Great views of the lake from the two screened porches, living room, dining room and most bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen for those who love to cook. We will request to return!

Stayed Jul 6, 2024Francia was a life saver!!! We got news that the property we originally rented had a septic issues 3 days before traveling from VA to Lake Chatuge and this happened to be the last waterfront property that was big enough for my family and allowed pets. I booked it right away and asked to get a message stating that it was booked. Francia responded right away stating it was ours for the week. SHEW!!! Crisis averted!! Not only was this property absolutely beautiful it actually ended up being perfect for our family. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had a crockpot that we used to make chicken tacos one night.The little dock house was stocked with floaties and even had kayaks that we enjoyed tootling around in. The boat dock was the perfect size for the rental that we got from Boundary Waters. Francia was a fantastic host and was very responsive. She even gave us a slightly later checkout because we were initially booked through Sunday morning at our original place but her place was only available through Saturday. I highly recommend Villa di Lago and any property that these owners may rent out.

Stayed Dec 30, 2023We loved the house. It was beautifully decorated and so very well stocked. We loved that it had 4 primary suites that were all very nice. The location is beautiful and not hard to get to at all. We would love to stay again in warm weather to take advantage of the water activities. Francia is very responsive to every question. We plan to go again.
