Sprawling Sound Front Home w Boat Slip

Property was advertised as fenced in backyard and no fence was there. Sprinklers went off all week, day and night.

Everything was great

Will not rent again due to being mislead about the furniture which was not as shown. The fridge was old and rusty. The dishwasher leaked and had to be repaired while we were there. House was very nice (Back porch is exceptional) but overpriced for this time of year in my opinion. Realty company that manages it was responsive but refused to offer any reduction in the rate even though we were inconvenienced by the lack of comfortable furniture. I ended up going out and buying a small ottoman in order to have a way to put my feet up and get comfortable.

Short but sweet!

Nice stay and everything. One thing was a problem for us was the owner or somebody had a boat at the dock while we were renting the house and felt “watched” the whole time we stayed there.

This is our second time staying at this property in the last year or so. We love Carolina Beach and try to come down a couple of times a year for 6+years now. To date, this home is our favorite! Clean, well maintained and fully stocked with needed items. Felt comfortable and welcoming. Pet friendly too! The views are awesome of the canal. Highly recommend this vacation home!

Then one mattress had some blood stains and it looked to be urin stains so we flipped and the other side only a little better. That bed was never used. The other mattress was flipped because it had some stains. The tvs only were good for movies or older channels. We never got local new or national. Someone left grapes on the desk and clothiers in the hamper.

Been going to this house for several years. Love this place on the water. Needs a new sofa in living room. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Can’t wait to go again!

The house was lovely, clean, and the kitchen wares (pots, pans, utensils) were well-stocked. Fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs. Quiet with beautiful views of the lake. Close to Freeman, the aquarium, and boardwalk. Only issues were that the couch is less than comfortable, the TVs had limited functionality, and there were no trash bags (which isn't something you'd think to bring). All in all, it was a great trip, and I'll definitely start my search with Bryant for our next trip to the shore. Thank you!

The best part of this house is the expansive screened porch along the backside of the house, overlooking the waterway. There are large windows also across the backside of the house, affording pleasant views from living/dining/kitchen area. This is a dog-friendly house and as such there are always compromises. There are small issues with the house interior. Slightly annoying but nothing overt (light bulbs out, toilets running, storm door won't latch,5 tea kettles but worst coffee maker ever!, etc.) - that a visit from a handyman couldn't rectify. There should be a sign on the front door to mind the step down - each of us (and the dog) tripped on the way in! The 3 bedrooms are very large. Pay attention to high tide. The last 2 days the street was entirely under water and we couldn't leave until the water receded - the road was closed. This doesn't happen daily, as the first 5 days were fine. The walk to the beach is a few easy blocks away. Overall we really did enjoy our stay.
