Splice The Maine Brace – Coastal Luxury with a Hot Tub Retreat

This home was a beautiful place for our friends to gather! There were lots of sleeping configurations, plenty of bathrooms, and the proximity to town was unmatched. We also LOVED the outdoor shower and hot tub!

This was our 2nd time staying at this home; it’s a nice, airy. stylish, comfortable space. Everything is well done, there are adequate amounts of everything (kitchen equipment, towels etc); the towels were so good my husband went and ordered the same ones. The location is good. I don’t love a main road but it’s not too busy and it’s a very close and easy walk to town and Short Sands; we walked to the Nubble a few times too. And the hot tub is a nice plus!

Splice the Maine Brace was truly a pleasure to stay at. The owners thought of pretty much everything you would need for a successful stay and Salt & Shine didn’t disappoint either. The trip to Short Sands was quick and easy with everything in walking distance. We will certainly return next year.

We stayed at a lovely, new, and spacious home just a short walk from both the beach and downtown. Everything was within walking distance, which made it super convenient. The home had all the amenities we needed—especially the hot tub and fire pit, which really made the vacation special. The staff at Salt & Shine—Danielle, Stephanie, Hannah, and others—went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Their hospitality made a big difference and added a personal touch to our trip. Highly recommend!

We had the best stay at Splice the Maine Brace! Pictures don't do this home justice! It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and well equipped. The home offers everything you would need on a vacation and more and is an easy walk to Short Sands beach. I could not be more happy with the home and our vacation. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. Will definitely re-book in the future!

This house was very spacious for my family to have Thanksgiving. Plenty of space to mingle and also sit down to eat at the large dining table.

Wow! My family of five just wrapped up one of our best York vacations ever at Splice the Mainebrace! We normally spend our annual vacation off Long Sands but ended up here due to renovations at our go-to house. What a wonderful surprise! The house is a 5-star property, offering everything you would ever need for an enjoyable long weekend (or more) in York. The kitchen is fully stocked and complemented by a huge kitchen table and island with tools. The bedrooms are immaculate with super comfy beds. The hot tub and fireplace ended up being the centerpiece of our stay. The hot tub is resort-quality and spacious, easily fitting our entire family. The garage is packed with kid and adult outdoor games and more than enough beach gear. With the exception of an initial trip to Hannaford's and a drive to Nubble lighthouse (5 minutes), our car sat in the driveway the entire stay because we were able to walk to everything - York Beach Brewery, Short Sands beach, restaurants, shops - all within 5-10 minute walk WITH the kids. We have been Long Sands vacationers for 20+ years, but our stay at this home has made us rethink our York vacations. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful home. We could not have had a better time. Everything was as promised, and everything worked. Hot tub was a lot of fun in the cool evenings. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, The Connell's
