Beautiful newer home located on the north shore of Lake Miltona that is perfect for a family getaway. Enjoy backyard bonfires while looking for shooting stars or walk down the yard to access the dock for lake fun. The rural location means the neighborhood and lake is less busy than other area lakes which makes for a relaxing vacation. However, it is just a short drive away from Alexandria for great shopping and dining. There are also 3 local wineries and 3 local breweries nearby.

Stayed Jun 1, 2026This is a beautiful home in a great lakefront setting. The greater area has many attractions and options for food, entertainment and outdoor activities for the whole family. The host was very responsive and helpful to our questions and quickly resolved minor things that came up during our stay. The home is family-friendly and also worked well for our dogs.We very much enjoyed our stay and we would visit again.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025The house was very nice and had all the room and amenities we needed. We were also able to bring our pets, which was really appreciated. Our host was very responsive and even provided a bottle of champagne for our celebration with family. The lake was beautiful and not deep near and around the dock area and we enjoyed swimming. The only things that could have made our stay better was if there had been a beach area for the kids to play in the sand and shade for the back yard patio area.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025It was a newer property that was very welcoming, and a pleasant place to stay with family or a large group. It had a nice area to sit upstairs, and downstairs, if your group wants variety and extra space to gather. It had a beautiful view and was right on Lake Miltona, which is a rather large lake in my opinion. Abbie was a great host who made our stay welcoming, and she was available for a few questions we had throughout our stay.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024Very comfortable cabin with everything you need. Wonderful, clear lake. Plenty of space to tie up our boat at the dock. Swimming and fishing were excellent.

Stayed Jul 9, 2024Our family of 4 visited from Oregon, and invited our nearby Minnesota family to visit during the day throughout our stay. Our experience at this property was beyond expectation! Check in was super easy, and the house was not only immaculate, but very organized-even the light switches and kitchen drawer contents were P-touch labeled. The house is very nicely updated and has a great layout. The pic's on the VRBO listing don't do it justice, the view out of the living room of the lake is awesome. Miltona is a very nice lake, and the location in proximity to Alexandria is very convenient. We had a great time and will most likely be back next summer!
