Spectacular Views! Comfortable, Spacious, Family Friendly Home-3 bedroom, 3 bath

Wonderful views and accommodations. Only complaint was the mattresses downstairs bedrooms. Will stay there again.

What a stunning view of the mountains! We loved returning to such a wonderful place each day of our stay. The home is comfortable and spacious upstairs with views right out the main windows. The kitchen is well supplied and we enjoyed the board games available too. Bill was very helpful throughout our stay with any additional information and support. We would love to stay here again if ever back in southwestern Colorado.

Wonderful! The Nest thermostat in the MB seems out of commission. Great add/touch having the fans in bedroom. Awesome that there were cooking supplies handy: olive oil, coffee, spices. We would certainly visit again!

This home was perfect. Very clean, plenty of room and Spectacular views all around. Host was very good with all the communication. We would definitely stay again!!

The property was beautiful. Amazing views. close to many areas of interest. Need to move sign stating no shoes on the carpet to a better area. We were actually up the stairs before we saw the sign, as it is halfway up the stairs on a windowsill. We enjoyed reading about how the house is so environmentally made. really surprised when I opened the door on the wall to actually see the bale of hay.

Close to Ouray and other sites we wanted to see. Private with great views yet private and quiet. Overall a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable!

Beautiful place

The views from the back porch were anazing! It was super quiet and peaceful. I have never seen a better stocked kitchen. It had everything. We hope to stay again.

Incredible property and views!! We had plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed for cooking all of our meals and the deck was perfect in the mornings and evenings. We saw elk, deer and a bear! We truly enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Open, spacious, well-featured! Perfect for accompanying Ouray hut to hut system hike! There were 7 women and we each had our own space and bed! The city of Ridgeway was not far and Ridgeway had great restaurants to facilitate our stay around the dehydrated food we mostly ate on the hike! Fantastic views!! And wildlife!!!

Really enjoyed our time at this property. It’s in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Ridgway. Fully stocked with towels, sheets, kitchen accessories and a grill for you to stay there all day if desired. Great views of the mountains all around!

Excellent, plan was to bike in Telluride and swim in Ouray. I could have stayed on the porch all day admiring the views and watching wildlife. House was very well furnished. Admired the straw bale construction and solar heat/energy.

Location was awesome, good central area for getting to the other places we would be.

This place, WOW! I can't say enough about the views. We came from northern Wisconsin for Ouray, but honestly, ridgeway and this house was some of the highlights of our trip. The house was clean, HUGE, and had everything needed. Plenty of driveway space and the home owner was always readily available for questions as well. We would absolutely stay again.

Overall, we absolutely loved the house. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place to pick , the stargazing at night was incredible. It does take about 20 minutes to get to the town of Ridgeway due to the terrain. The house is very close to a lot of different trail systems and activities. The property manager got back to me promptly with any question I had. I felt this house was an excellent location if you want to hike Ouray and Telluride. I would definitely stay here again.

This space was perfect for our 4 day getaway to Ouray and Telluride. It was an easy drive to the home from Denver and we had no issues getting to the activities and events we had planned, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. There are spectacular views of the mountains from every window. We also greatly enjoyed watching the neighborhood wildlife from the deck each morning. The property itself is spacious, clean, and stocked with everything you could need to cook. We were really impressed with the amount of thought and care that the owners put in to making sure guests have a comfortable stay. We definitely hope we can stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Perfect stay over Christmas. Views are incredible! Roomy for us to spread out…. Loved Ridgway & skiing in Telluride! Would definitely stay again.

Around 15’ away from the nearest town, tucked away in the mountains, this property was better than expected. We crossed path with deer daily, a small family of 3 would show up at the front of the house every morning. The place is very spacious, well stocked, perfect layout to keep the teens downstairs with their own bathroom and TV/video game room. Although we didn’t need help from Bill, he was checking in us every other day and was fast to reply. We would definitely come back. The road (specially in winter) might not be suitable for cars that are not 4x4.

We spent three nights during the turning of the Aspens to bright yellows. The view from the deck is beautiful and can be seen inside in the family room or outside on the deck. Very comfortable home and communication with the owner was very easy. Would stay again.

Very nice property. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We mostly stayed there and cooked our own meals. The views were awesome. The house was very roomy for the four of us.

We loved staying at this beautiful Elk Meadows house. It was a great base to explore the mountains and a cozy home to return to at the end of the day. I'll continue to dream about the mountain views and stargazing long after our trip.

We are from Missouri 16 hours away. We came for our nephews wedding. This house was perfect for our getaway wish we had more time to spend there. If this is available in the future we will most definitely stay again. Thank you for everything.

We used the Elk Meadows home as a base for exploring the San Juans many off-road trails accessible from Hwy 550 and couldn’t have been more pleased. The property was clean and comfortable in every regard and to say the kitchen was well stocked is an understatement. Bill did a great job of communicating any need-to-know information and was quick to respond with any questions. I have no reservations recommending Elk Meadows whether as a base for exploring or just relaxing and enjoying the panoramic views without going anywhere.

Lovely house at the end of a 20 minute trek out of the town. Secure area. Wonderful views for morning coffee on the deck. Mountain air at night is cool. Day is hot in summer. Surprised at first no AC. BUT sleeping at night was good. Only surprise was how far away from town the house really is. Great host though.

My family (including three young ones) enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space. Very comfortable home.

This house was such a great home base after our days of exploring the area. It was comfortable and more than enough room for our family of three. Bill was fantastic to deal with; always responding quickly with detailed information. Definitely a highlight of the trip for us was a bear visiting the yard twice! I would absolutely stay here again!
