Spectacular Seaview, Fire Island Beach House

This was an excellent stay at a great property. It's an older home that has been nicely renovated, sitting in an extraordinary location that was both close to the beach and a short walk to the Seaview Market, probably the best market in any Fire Island community. Also close enough to the many restaurants and shopping in Ocean Beach that we never felt like it was a burden to go there, which isn't always the case if you stay farther away in Ocean Bay Park. The bedrooms were relatively small but numerous and well appointed, and the deck space out back was spacious and a great common area, along with the living room. We found the house immaculately clean when we arrived, and our host JoAnn was great about checking in and responding to any questions. It's an easy recommendation.

One of the few 6 bedroom homes on fire island that could accommodate our large family trip. Amazing back deck with patio table, lounge furniture, gas grill, and outdoor shower. Central AC kept us cool and comfortable during a heat wave. Bedding was clean and very comfortable. Amazing location, quick walk to the beach, market, town, and ferry stop. Wonderful communication from host. What made our stay above and beyond were the comfy beach chairs, towels, and bikes. You won’t regret staying here. :) Thank you, JoAnn!

Our stay at Karen's house was perfect, and it is even better than the pictures (which is rare in my experience). The house was very clean, well supplied, and tastefully renovated recently. The outdoor space was big with lots of shade from the sun, and the outdoor shower was amazing. We are a group of middle aged friends in our 40's, and this house provided everything we needed. Hope to come back next summer.

Everyone in my extremely critical family loved this house. It was tastefully done and equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your time on FI. Everything was clean and well taken care of. My family of 11 was comfortable inside and on the deck.

We have rented several houses in FI, but this house was probably the best yet. It was thoughtfully planned out for a beach vacation, had a well equipped kitchen for people who like to cook as we do, everything tasteful, comfortable and clean! Perfectly situated to the beach and the market. Relaxing backyard deck, comfy beds, beautiful newly renovated bathroom. And, Karen is an excellent and attentive host.

Just found our new annual vacation spot! Property beautifully located by beach, ferry and just far away enough from town. Excellent size for larger family. Greg outdoor sitting area. Bikes and beach equipment exactly what we needed and in gear condition. Karen was a wonderful and communicative host. No complaints and only good things to say. Thank you Karen!
