Spectacular Oceanfront Beach House on Gooch's Beach

The location of this house is beautiful. The house itself is very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. Our host made an error in the date of our stay so the house was not cleaned. Brian drove an hour during a busy holiday week to clean it himself and reimbursed us for the cleaning fee. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable.

Location was perfect. The home was beautiful and clean and the owner couldn’t be more accommodating.. I had a wonderful few days, enjoying my children and my grandchildren

Simply put I would rent this property again without hesitation. beautiful house great beach and outstanding location. walking distance to downtown Kennebunk port and restaurants and quaint shops.

Very well stocked and in the perfect location! Our family had spent time up north in Bar Harbor and then came south to Kennebunkport- my favorite part of the whole trip was the gathering space on the front porch. Thank you for the memories!

Property was everything we thought it would be. Great location to the ocean & town, great views, clean and easy booking process. You will not be disappointed!!

We stayed here as a family of four, including children 3 and 6 years old, for three nights. The kids loved running around and exploring the house and all its nooks and crannies, along with and all the games in the living room (especially the binoculars). The beach was right across the street, and perfect for two kids to look for shells and hermit crabs (we found a lot of hermit crabs!). Can walk right into town. My son asked us to make this particular house a family tradition!

This house and location are amazing. We enjoyed the stay and hope to return.

Our extended family of 12 people had a wonderful time at this house in a stunning location. There was plenty of room for all, space for the tweens to have their own space but for all of us to gather as well. Very well-equipped, it was great that there were plenty of supplies like paper products, extra bedding and towels. Easy access for some beautiful February beach walks and stunning view from inside as well. Our host was great and very communicative.

We took a quick family trip (4 adults, 4 kids ranging from 10-14) over New Years. This house does not disappoint. It’s even larger than it appears in the photos, with a ton of space for everyone to spread out. There are two large living room areas, one with a bar, and both with beautiful views of the ocean. Same goes for the dining room with a direct beach view as well. The kids loved the lower level with its own living room area, bedroom with three singles and bathroom. The primary suite is massive, the top floor bedroom and private bath works out great for a couple and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom and are great for kids and a couple. We got extremely lucky with the weather on New Year’s Eve and were able to enjoy the huge front porch overlooking the ocean. You cannot beat this location.The owners were awesome! Incredibly friendly and communicative during our stay. Would highly recommend this home and look forward to coming back again!

We had high hopes when booking, and all our hopes were met and exceeded. This is truly a lovely house in the best location. We enjoyed a large family Christmas vacation at the house with family members across all generations, and everyone was thrilled. Five Stars.

Gorgeous location, and the house comes with great amenities.

Place was comfortable for 6 adults. The wet bar area was the hangout place coffee, conversation and wine. Great location!

Visited Kennebunk with immediate family and in-laws. House was great with ample space / room for everyone, and location was ideal for beach access. Also very close to town, roughly 1 mile to get to shops & restaurants.

The owner, Brian, was very polite and fast to reply. The house is very nice and the location is perfect. We enjoyed the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Kennebunkport. I rated the cleanliness of the house low and talked to Brian about this problem. He informed me that he was also very disappointed with his current cleaning service and was getting a new service as of the next week. I hope the new service pays more attention to this beautiful house. The one inaccuracy of the property description was the whirlpool tub. The tub is in the third floor bathroom and it is extremely small. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary family vacation in Kennebunk!

This house met or exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of room for a group of nine adults. The porch is awesome. While we were a bit concerned about being close to a road, it was never an issue. We came to think about it as a source of free entertainment, especially the parallel parking attempts. We wondered how much beach was left after the storm. At high tide, maybe 20 yards. At low tide, quite a lot, more than 100 yards. It was also nice to be so close to town, just a bit more than a mile. And there are sidewalks all the way to town, so it is easily walkable.

Our weeklong stay at the house couldn’t have been better. The location is fantastic and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and convenient location. We will definitely consider booking the house again in the future.
