Spectacular Ocean Views, Beach Access 5 BR Home Near Ritz Carlton

Everything was as spectacular as advertised

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate New Year's Eve in Half Moon Bay and enjoyed our time at the rental home, with plenty of space for our family of 8 adults. The house was lovely, clean and spacious with beautiful ocean views. The host was gracious to allow early check-in and late check-out, and was communicative prior to and during our stay when issues came up. The home was conveniently located down the street from Ritz Carlton. It was also driving distance to the grocery store and downtown area.We ran into a few issues with both dishwashers appearing clogged and having a pool of standing water in both of them, so we didn't use them at all. Fortunately the kitchen was very well-stocked with enough plates and utensils to last us during our short stay. The other issue was the thermostat upstairs wasn't working, so it was pretty chilly in the upstairs bedrooms our first night. When relaying these issues to the host Sonia, she was very responsive and helped in setting the temp for the upstairs thermostat remotely. The check-in instructions and a few reviews mentioned a firepit in the patio, but we did not see any firepit when we were there. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. I would recommend the host or house cleaner check the dishwashers and thermostat prior to guest check-in. Including directions in the check-in instructions would also be helpful, as Google maps directed us to the back side of the house instead of the front gatehouse entrance.

Our host was supremely supportive from well in advance of our stay through to check-out. Including sourcing a corkscrew for us at 8:30PM! The home is spacious and well equipped. Lovely patio overlooking the golf course and Pacific Ocean. Easy off street parking. Perfect for our stay in every way. Thank you!

The home and its location are perfect for a stay in HMB, especially if you are golfing. Lots of special touches that make it special.

From prior to our stay through our stay, Sonia was communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood felt safe and the house was clean and well-stocked for our party. We were particularly impressed by the generous welcome snacks and beverages for my birthday weekend and how well-stocked the house was for any group. They had board games, a high chair for babies and other supplies for my baby nephew, as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful all around!

Our family of 8 had a great stay here!! The home is beautiful, clean, fully stocked, and the view couldn't be better! We walked down to the beach both days and soaked up the sun! Communication with the host was very easy too! We will stay here again next year!

The house is roomy, enough space for everyone, well appointed, all necessities provided. All rooms on the 1st floor and master bedroom have sweeping views of the ocean. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Pacific Coastal trail starts practically from the door. The reason for 4 stars is that house is in need of a little repairs. We had problems with closing and opening windows, one of the 2 dishwashers didn’work. However Sonia was very responsive and did her best to fix the problem. All and all I would recommend this house for a restful stay.

Wonderful home and property.

Everything about this property was perfect. View, cleanliness, parking, well appointed amenities, with plenty of space. The welcome champagne and snacks was a nice touch.
