If you're looking for an amazing house that offers SPECTACULAR long-range views and a place to just relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this house is for you! This house will not disappoint, as it provides incredible long-range views of the Lake from nearly every room in the house, including the kitchen! Wake up to MAJESTIC views each morning from three of the four bedrooms - each with its own sliding glass door leading to the deck. Take a short walk on a gentle sloping lot to the dock and waters edge, where you will find a private beach with only several steps into the crystal-clear water. Spacious boat house featuring 17x30 foot dock provides ample space for sitting at the wrought iron table (with umbrella), zero gravity chairs, sunbathing or watching the children do cannon balls. Depth off the end of the dock is approximately 6 feet. For fisherman - wonderful fishing is available directly off the dock and shoreline. After a GREAT day on the Lake, sit by the firepit roasting smores or just reconnect with family and friends. Unfortunately, we do not offer use of the boat lift, however, there are several cleats to tie your boat along the dock.
This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is clean, comfortable and has an open concept floor plan with high vaulted ceilings. There is a large main table (seats 10) and bar (seats 4) to allow various seating configurations. There are two couches in the living room (new 2022), as well as an ottoman. Internet and Wi-Fi are provided, as well as a 55" smart TV with Spectrum cable bundle and DVD player.
Weekly trash pickup is included at the curb. NO need to haul your trash away!
The house is located at the entrance to Pea Hill Creek, very near to Washburn's Marina. The home is on the main Lake side of the bridge - NOT hidden in a narrow shallow cove and NO culverts to navigate.
Non-smokers ONLY- owners are allergic .
Linens and bath towels ARE provided (NO linen fees here). Beds will be made before your arrival! However, we do ask that you please bring your own towels for the lake.
The kitchen comes fully furnished with large refrigerator, blender, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker (a small selection of K-Pods will be provided) as well as everything else you are likely to need.

2 bathrooms - double vanity and shower/tub combo
Home has ceiling fans in every bedroom
The rear deck runs the entire length of the house and has two outdoor tables and Weber grill for outdoor relaxation.
The house is centrally located and is close to Food Lion, Ace Hardware, ABC liquor, Lake Gaston Pizza, Subway, Putt Putt Golf and many more.
A public boat ramp is offered less than 1 mile away.
**The house shares a driveway with a neighbor so we ask that guests park in the three designated parking spots in the front of the house. Not to worry, there is ample parking In the grass for trailer or additional vehicle.

This house was just the perfect vacation home. I love how the three bedrooms connected to the outside deck facing the lake. The sunrises were spectacular!!! We have such wonderful memories watching my grandson swim all day and catching a fish off the deck. This house was absolutely perfect and the lake views were incredible!! A couple of things that we always look for in a lake house vacation is a home with a view, a flatter yard (if possible), and plenty of seating for the 8 of us so we can enjoy meals together! Your home exceeded all of our expectations! It was very clean, well stocked, and had all the comforts of home! We enjoyed playing our Kan Jam and Spike Ball games in your yard (most times it’s impossible due to a sloping yard!). We also brought our boat and tied up to the dock and loved being able to hop on it for water sports and fishing! We caught several sunrises from the dock and sunsets from our boat! The addition of the swim mat and paddleboard was a big hit in our books! We even enjoyed the firepit one night! From booking, to staying, to checking out, the owners were attentive to our needs and made the process seamless and our stay very enjoyable! We’ve taken a lake trip for the last 3 years to a different lake and stayed in different homes, but this has been our most enjoyable trip yet!! We love Lake Gaston and your home and will most likely be back! Thank you Ken and Denise!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this house. The owners are GREAT!! So many supplies at the house and fully stocked! The location is AWESOME with vies of the main lake yet tucked in a cove. The Layout of the house is great with the main bedroom on one end and the others on the other end. Really cant say enough! We will be back!

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed at in Lake Gaston. The home is very clean and kept up well. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots, pans, and utensils. We enjoyed the grass areas to play sports with the kids. The dock was great for fishing and plenty of room to tie our boat up. Only down sides were the boat traffic (but it was a holiday weekend) and no vent fans in the bathrooms. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

The views are magnificent and there is an easy sloping yard to the lake. We arrived at the end of April and the azaleas were in bloom. We hiked, rented a pontoon, played cornhole and had evening fires in the fire pit.The host provided the information in a timely fashion and made sure we had internet access and that our expectations met. Perfect getaway!

We stayed at this home while visiting family. The house had everything we needed and more. The view of the lake is spectacular. There were just 2 of us but there is plenty of room for a larger group. We even cooked some s’mores on the fire pit.

We loved staying at this property! The house was as described with accurate pictures. We were (pleasantly) surprised at how well it was stocked with much of what we needed for our stay. The house was clean and comfortable, and communication was great. Having tables and seating at both the deck and on the dock was wonderful. We made some great memories in the evenings around the firepit. The ranch-style house and gently sloping yard made this is a perfect place for anyone with mobility issues. My father appreciated only having a few steps from the deck to get the grass and with no other stairs on the property to navigate. There is a Food Lion a few miles away, and, if you're bringing a boat, Washburn's Marina is close by to refuel or rent a boat. Overall this was a wonderful place that we would recommend and stay at again.

We rent at Lake Gaston every year and this was our best rental yet! The view is amazing (great windows across the house). The yard is flat and easy access to the main lake. You can step right down into the lake from the steps and the back porch gets the afternoon shade. Bedrooms on opposite end of the house which is great. Good size for small family. Well stocked with all you need and a clean easy to use grill. The owner even left us coffee and smores ingrediants. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lake home! Everything about this house is guest friendly!Very clean-(and I’m a meticulous house keeper.) The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you’re so inclined to cook a gourmet meal. And there’s a large family dining table/area to gather around. The house has lots of light with huge windows and patio doors facing the lake.The master is on the other side of the house, separate from the other 3 bedrooms.Comfy couches and cable tv in the living area.But who wants to watch tv with that spectacular view and yard?The property feels like a private sanctuary with trees lining either side framing beautiful Lake Gaston. Mornings were spent on the deck watching the blue heron, osprey and even an eagle!In the afternoon we set off from the boat dock with (our kayaks) to explore the lake.Evenings had us enjoying a cold drink or glass of wine as the sun went down and the stars came out.We’re taking some unforgettable memories with us as we leave!Thank youDonna & Skip
