Stayed Dec 25, 2025Everything was outstanding / location, the house itself all the amenities available from living in The Villages. Awesome stay/ will do it again! Didn’t use the golf cart since it was a 2 seater.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1194 Flamingo Place is a great location, walking distance to Sumter Landing. It could use a good dusting before guests check in. More lighting in the master bedroom, and the adjustable bed was not working.We were waiting for the exterminator to show up, we were told he would be at the house in 30 minutes. We left an hour later and he did not show. The next morning however, he shows up unannounced. He was polite, and only did the outside. He just let us know that he was outside. The new cookware is a nice improvement.

Stayed Jun 14, 2021The house was perfect for my family of 5. House is so close to Sumter Landing, could easily get to the town square in 5 minutes. No complaints! Lovely home !

Stayed Apr 18, 2021Great location close to Sumter Square, nicely furnished. Having golf cart available much appreciated. Did not care for TV system difficult to operate, could not get several programs.

The property was very well maintained. The home was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities that I could want. Everything worked as expected, from the icemaker to the air conditioner to the Internet connection. The property is conveniently located near the Lake Sumter Landing town square, which made shopping, dining out and going to see the nightly entertainment at the town square a breeze. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit The Villages and sample The Villages Lifestyle.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this home for 6 weeks. It’s in a great locations, within easy walking distance to Sumter Square. The home is very well furnished with nice furniture and comfortable beds. There is also a nice screeded porch and private back patio. The Gas golf cart was also great. Down Home Proderties was quick to address a minor plumbing issue. My only complaint is there are only 2 TV’s, one in the family room and one in the Master. Those TVs are nice but, only very basic cable was available (meaning no ESPN, Cable News, or movie channels, etc.J. Internet service was fast and reliable. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you!
