Stayed Jun 2, 2025Great location. Access to beach excellent. Outdoor shower. Hose to wash off all sand before going in which kept sand off the floors! We enjoyed our stay but several things were quite irritating. Hot water is a big problem. Took 3 days to figure washing machine was reversed so cold was hot which used up the hot water. Only one bathroom had hot water. 2nd bathroom had hotter water. No baking dishes & cookware is awful. Took my own omelet pan but had to buy a pot at thrift store. I cook everyday so this was frustrating. Saw on earlier review about cookware but figured owner updated but no. Comfortable furniture but we did not like the beds. Too high up, you need a foot stool. Seriously. All in all the location and access to beach out weighed the few problems except hot water problem. We love Edisto and just know this is a great place but ILike a screened porch and this house doesn’t have one.

Stayed Jul 9, 2023House is convenient and easy access for beach. Two beds are VERY high off ground. Sliding glass door is hard to open from outside/missing handle.(hard for little people) Single beds were not comfortable but big bed was. The doors stick if you have light sleepers. Kitchen needs major overhaul. Bring pots and a pan with you. Grill needs to be replaced. Cannot regulate flame and parts are broken. Bring a grill. Would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 16, 2023Back door storm door needs a closing actuator. Bathrooms are good. However shower actuators are weak. Won't close off all the way. Some appliances could be updated. Overall a nice place with in a very good location.
