Excellent place to stay on Folly Beach for two adult couples. We parked here and walked to the beach, the SUP paddleboard shop, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

What a great place! It was everything it was advertised to be and more. The location is perfect and it’s super easy to get to the beach. There is every thing you could possibly need in the kitchen, washer and dryer, shady screened in porch, beach chairs and toys— even a wagon! And it’s right by Bert’s market and Chico Feo— YUM! Ernie was a fabulous host and super responsive. A really wonderful stay!

Ernie was a fantastic host. The house was clean, there was ample parking, and communication from Ernie was great. All information about the stay was clear and helpful, we had everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach, and checkout was very easy. We would absolutely stay there again on our next visit.

Beautiful home, close to the beach and downtown - when we arrived we thought it might be loud at night, surprisingly it was quiet.

You can't get a better Folly Beach vacation house! The location can't be beat - three short blocks to the beach and one block from Center Street restaurants and shops. The newly renovated house was sparkling clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. The screened-in porch was an incredible bonus; we were out there day and night. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The host has even provided a beach cart and beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use! All in all, it was the best beach vacation property we have stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot of places! I'll definitely be back!

Overall great house. Very clean and stocked with everything you need on vacation. Front porch was our favorite place to hangout. Easy walk to the beach and bars/restaurants….didn’t need to rent a golf cart!

Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed (we tend to cook at home most of the time, instead of eating out). Parking was nice, the carport is a nice touch as it was raining when we arrived but only a few steps in the rain to the back door for unloading. We brought chairs, umbrella, and beach wagon, but used those provided for us as they were in great shape and saved us from having to unload those from our car. The best part was the screened in porch when we were not at the beach or riding bikes. There was some construction in front of the house and directly across the street, but I suspect it will be done by the time the real season for the island starts. We didn't get back into our car until it was time to leave - everything is within walking distance including the perfect beach access and the pier, as well as the restaurants, coffee shops, bakery and market. Not our first time to Folly and won't be our last. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location! This is a great place for a home base for your Charleston area adventures. Ernie excels in communication and his home is a treasure.

Despite water line construction going on right in front of the house we had a lovely stay. And the owner is super responsive and went out of his way to try and help fix a situation with a neighbor’s flood light. There are so many places in a short walk distance from the house, it’s a great location!

The location was perfect and a great beach house. My 2 year old grandson enjoyed the beach toys on the screened in porch. I loved that everything I needed was within walking distance.

Our family of 4 stayed here and we had a fun, relaxing week. The house is in a great, convenient location close to the beach and Center street - perfect for the 2 teens with us to come and go and not need a car or golf cart. Loved the screened-in porch for reading and relaxing. The kitchen was well-stocked, house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We used the supplied wagon for our beach gear and there were numerous beach chairs we could use too. The pictures were accurate and owner communication was clear and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and loved our time in Folly!

We always love staying at Folly’s Best Kept Secret- great location- great location- house is perfect size for two couples. We love working with renter he’s great! Has all amenities- very cozy!

IMO the best part of this beach house is the screened in porch. It’s great to wake up in the morning and have coffee or tea on the porch a nice place to relax in the evening after a day on the beach.

This house was a perfect location. The house was clean, kitchen had all the appliances we needed, the property was well maintained and Ernie was incredibly concise and thorough with instructions for check in/ check out. We vacation in Folly every summer for a girls trip, but he provided an extensive list of places to go and recommendations that would be wonderful for someone unfamiliar with the area. The outside was well lit for safety and we couldn’t have had a better time. We will be back to this house! I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy being so close to the main strip but the house was quiet and tucked away enough. There was ample off street parking and the outdoor shower kept the house as clean and sand free as we could get! No notes!

We loved our stay here. Nice close walk to the beach. Bert’s is right there so very convenient. Parking was great. Closed in porch was perfect for our rainy days. Only minus was not having streaming sign in on tvs. But cable was good.

We had a wonderful time at Ernie's house on Folly Beach! We stayed for four nights during my graduation from MUSC with my doctorate degree! The home was able to house me, my husband, and my parents. The house was very clean, 1 block from the beach, and in a very walkable location. We had the best week ever!

House was very comfortable for us and had all the creature comforts. Layout was perfect to spread out and you cannot beat the location. We were able to walk to most everything, just wish we had more time. Owner was really helpful and gracious.

Great Folly cottage in perfect location!

Folly’s Best Kept Secret was the perfect place for our Spring Break! Ernie is informative, welcoming, and a great communicator! The home was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Just a short walk to town with an abundance of restaurants and shops and so close to the beach! The entire island has a great, laidback vibe. We hope to come back!

My husband and I stayed at this house with another couple. This home is the perfect size for 2 couples at a great location. Plenty of restaurants, bars and the beach are within a couple blocks. Highly recommended.

Our second year staying here and needless to say, we love it. Convenient location to everything. Kitchen is stocked with whatever you need. Comfortable and clean.

Perfect accommodations !!!

We had an amazing time at this location! This was our second time to Folly, and we plan to return again and to this house specifically! Communication with Ernie was clear and timely! He helped me with the booking, called me on my way to Folly, and sent reminders of when trash was due for take out! The house was spacious, clean, and the perfect fit for 4 adults! Everything that was listed was included! The PORCH was PERFECT! A spacious and great amount of parking space! We loved having the beach chairs and wagon that was provided for our trip to the beach! If you are trying to find a place and not sure if this is the right fit, IT IS! He also gave us recommendations for food and we even used the house’s Harris Treeter membership to get discounted groceries! A++

Stayed 4 nights and Ernie made sure we had perfect weather. What more can you ask for?:)

Beautiful property. Wonderful location if you like to walk. We are old and it was a stretch for us. Picture is misleading No railing on outside steps. Owner was extremely pleasant and helpful We loved Folly Island.
