Stayed Apr 3, 2026We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property!! We were so impressed by how large it was - plenty of room for our 3 kids to move around, lots of tables and benches to put our things down, etc. The home was recently remodeled and everything was very modern - clean, hardwood floors, beautiful bathrooms, sturdy furniture. We appreciated the linen service. The location was very convenient to a nearby park and restaurants. The private access to the beach was amazing - the stairs are a little steep, but not too bad. The beach was a little crowded because the location is close to the pier and it was probably spring break as well as Easter weekend, but we still enjoyed it. Check in and out was effortless, and Sharon was very responsive to questions.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025Catie’s Cove in Surf City, NC was the perfect getaway for my family and me. Our host was an excellent communicator, making everything smooth and easy. The house was spotless, well maintained, and sits right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Each morning, I loved relaxing on the porch with my coffee while watching the sunrise. The beach was very clean and well cared for, perfect for long walks. The location is ideal—within walking distance to the pier, Daddy Mac’s (a great beachfront restaurant), the bridge, a hamburger and hot dog spot, a taco place, and several donut and ice cream shops. Truly the perfect beach escape.

Stayed Aug 15, 2025the view from decks and access to beach were fabulous. Home could use some cosmetic updates inside and out. Cleaning crew does not clean that well and ceiling fan blades need to be cleaned occasionally. Although I did not like fact I had to put sheets on and take them off of the bed I slept in, I did like fact that I knew sheets were clean because they were in sealed packages on each bed. The Mr. Coffee machine was leaking water all over the counter, but luckily there was a brand new coffee machine in the closet that we used. Adjoining home has very noisy people, I think they had kids that seemed to run up and down stairs constantly. The location was excellent, very close to many things. We went for a jet ski ride which was literally 0.4 miles from the house. Overall, we had a wonderful time. FYI the Lobstah Shack is actually a shack with just few picnic tables outside, but food was ok

Stayed Jul 27, 2024House was very clean, bright and welcoming. Well stock kitchen. Fourth bedroom is in the lowest lever with no bathroom at that level. Otherwise great house for 8 people.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024Spent a week here with 11 members of my family. Perfect beach location. No pool, but we brought along an inflatable pool for the youngsters - especially good on rainy days. Great house location - close to stores, restaurants, the pier. Sharon helped out a lot with good open and close instructions. Good Wifi. We'd like to come back.
