Location couldn’t be better. Clean, comfortable with beach access that can’t be beat. Hosts are welcoming, respectful of privacy and easy to be with.

This was such an enjoyable week. The unit felt very private and comfortable. The beach was very private which was unexpected being pretty much in Old Orchard. We can't wait to stay there again next year.

We were back for our annual 2 week stay and were not disappointed - even the weather was perfect! One thing we noticed this year was the absence of motorcycle traffic on East Grand Ave. We'd heard that the town of Old Orchard Beach was making the downtown area more Family Friendly, which may account for the reduction in motorcycle traffic. There is still a Thursday night fireworks display at the pier (visible from the rental's sea wall) although it now starts at 9:45PM. It's worth either taking a walk along the beach or just sitting in a chair on the sea wall to watch. I failed to mention last year the rental includes wireless access, which worked perfectly for us. Once again the people renting the other side this year were very friendly and polite, and privacy is not an issue for either side. We had some old friends stop by for a visit and they couldn't stop commenting on what a wonderful spot this is. It truly has everything you'll need for either a 1 or 2 week stay. With Cape Elizabeth just a 10 minute ride away you can see the lighthouses that dot the coast as well as enjoy some fresh seafood (we'd recommend the Lobster Shack at twin lights). And once again we have requested a booking for next summer. This place will never get old!

We had been coming to the area for over 20 years ago until our parents sold their condo. We have been looking since to find a place that we would love and we finally did. The location, amenities, and house offered everything we could have hoped for. The place was spotless. We are already hoping to reserve for next year. We would definitely recommend this place to all!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! The house was exceptionally clean, the linens that were included were of nice quality. We spent most of our time on the side screened in porch or the decks. The short walk to the beach allowed us to go back and forth to the house for a snack, bathroom break, or a beverage....with ease. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and the water fluctuated from calm to having nice waves for the kids to ride their boogie boards. The owners are very accommodating! We enjoyed our week tremendously.

This rental has it all. The only property which has both street and beach access (no other houses in between). The circular driveway allows for easy access/exit and a parking area. Once inside you will be astonished with the multiple dining options (beach sea wall, sun deck, screened in porch, ample dining room, and yes the beach with sand - bring your own chairs for that). The master bedroom view of the beach is magnificent, and the sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep at night. Plenty of room for guests, with a separate bedroom, a loft, and a sleep sofa in the living room. It's location allows for a great walk on Pine Point Beach up to the Old Orchard Pier, some 2.5 mile round trip (about an hour, 15 minutes or so). Engage your toes in the surf and enjoy the children as they play in the ocean, many for the first time in their lives. Catch the tides right and you'll be surprised at the mild water temps as the warm tide recedes from the tidal marsh located next to the beach. While high tide presents an excellent opportunity to enjoy a warm ocean most days, a low tide is also an opportunity to enjoy a huge beach footprint (have played softball on this beach without disturbing anyone). A BBQ grill is included on the property (try a New England Boiled Dinner using seaweed from the beach), Neighbors could not be more friendly (be sure to say hi to Carmen and Marco - neighbors to the right side looking down to the beach). If you are looking for a relaxing vacation site you can do no better. I've been here since 1989 and have not regretted a single year staying here. And I've already booked next year.....
