Wonderful location, views, and access

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect — peaceful and right by the water, with stunning views of the boats and the changing fall colors. We loved spending time on the beach and relaxing with family. After years of wanting to visit Maine, this trip exceeded our expectations. Fall was the perfect time to come — quiet, cozy, and full of charm. We’re so grateful for the memories and hope to return someday!

Our family with two toddlers had a wonderful, relaxing stay at John’s cottage. The calm bay beach just feet from the cottage is was fantastic to play in the mornings and find creatures in sand annd swimming, and was an easy walk to ocean beach. The house had everything we could need and more (books for all ages, games, cooking supplies, etc). We truly had a blast and hope to return soon!

We spent two months (mid November to mid January) in the Anchorage Cottage. The cottage was clean and well prepared for our visit. Every room in the cottage has a view of the water and the lobster trawlers that anchor there. Amazing that they work through the winter. John, the host, and his sons were attentive to our needs. It is located near the beach, restaurants and local amusements. The fact that it was winter made much of this unavailable, but we would love to come back in the summer. It would be the perfect location. Thank you John for making the cottage available to us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past week. The home is spotless, spacious and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and everything is well organized, right down to the parking. The views were spectacular. My husband and I have a newborn and welcomed the sunrise view each day. Right on the water with a rugged beach within steps. We walked to Pine Point Beach every day too. Perfect stay.

We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and that view! At high tide it felt like we were on the water. The Anchorage Cottage had everything we needed and then some.

It was a much needed week at the beach with our one year old grandson and three daughters.

We enjoyed our stay at The Anchorage Cottage very much. We ate at the nearby restaurants, enjoyed walking the beach and spent a day fishing out of the adjacent marine center. John was great as a host. We could not of asked for a better few days. We look forward to returning.

We had a spectacular stay at The Anchorage in Pine Point, Maine. Beautiful views of the ocean. Saw many different varieties of birds. Definitely a great place for bird watchers. Steps away from the beach making kayaking so much easier. The owner could not have done anything more in making us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our time there. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable for our family of four and our little dog. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking and eating in. Beds were very comfortable with extra pillows. We all slept great! Looking forward to staying there soon. Thank you again John for such a terrific week!!!!

My mom loves the beach and her family, so she booked this cottage to enjoy both. Some members of our family have a hard time relaxing, so this trip was a bit of a challenge for them. But the rest of us quite enjoyed the view and the easy walk to the sandy beach. Cottage was clean, had all the amenities we needed - close to other beaches and cute towns to shop in. Thank you
