We especially loved the outside kitchen, we were outside almost the entire time. Also the boats doing the manta ray swims were straight out from the beach. I don’t know if they are always in the same area, but I enjoyed watching the boats and all of their lights at night. Also loved the pool and hot tub!

Loved staying here… beautiful views, beautiful pool. Easy to access sites on the island. Loved being able to swim in the pool at 8pm and it was dark with soft glowing pool lights. It felt magical because it was still so warm outside Hawaii smells delightful with all the flowers bloomingThe host greeted us when we arrived and checked on us when the island had a 6.0 earthquake!And he greeted us when we checked out.It was wonderful to have such a peaceful and relaxing location for our 25th anniversary One night there was a little noise by the neighbors next door in their pool, but it wasnt something we too bothered by, and who can help with neighbors who also book their own vacation rental?? You have to get a little creative if you stay in this unit as the kitchen sink is outside and fridge inside. And there is minimal counter space and all utensils are inside. If you are going to cook your own food and not use the BBq, it takes some creativity, there is an electric skillet, that was available. We used it to make rice then washed it and next saute veggies. Seemed to work out pretty well. Again, lovely location, beautiful views, lovely pool and comfy bed and washer/dryer available.Please note there is another unit on the property and if someone rents it, you will share the pool, hot tub and lawnWe were happy to have found such a gem.

If there was ever a place that was heaven on earth:..this was it! Complete with the most beautiful amazing couple running it! I have no words!! We WILL BE BACK GOD WILLING!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was a great base camp for our daily excursions. The view was incredible, and we enjoyed watching the manta ray night snorkeling boats in the bay. It’s conveniently located near a grocery store, a few restaurants and a marina for whale watching and snorkeling tours. The bed linens and pillows were super comfortable and you don’t really seem to mind doing dishes after breakfast when you’re standing outside in the beautiful surroundings. We did not cook while there, as we only needed the toaster oven for breakfast. We thank you, Paul (our host), for a very nice experience.

Paul and Kay were wonderful hosts! The place was clean, bed was super comfortable! Great view, very quiet. Walkable to grocery store, drug store, food, boutique and orher cute shops! Will definitely be back!

The suite was just as advertised but you have to see the view to really appreciate it.

Perfect spot, with great hosts. Property is exactly as depicted in listing. Property is extremely clean, spacious and has amenities, above and beyond. Just have thought of everything. Communication with Paul is extremely easy and response time is spot on. Highly recommend this place. We will return.

Oh my gosh, you won’t believe how amazing our stay at the villa in Hawaii was! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were surrounded by breathtaking ocean views and lush tropical gardens. The villa itself was a masterpiece modern luxury with a touch of authentic island charm. Every little detail, like the comfy pool furniture, made us feel like we were right at home.The pool was our go-to spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun during the day. And the evenings were just magical! Warm Hawaiian breezes and stunning sunsets painted the sky. The location was perfect private yet close enough to explore local shops, beaches, and mouth-watering island cuisine.But what really made our stay special was the warm hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy.In every way, this villa was a paradise retreat a perfect blend of tranquility, beauty, and luxury. I can’t wait to go back and create even more unforgettable memories in this slice of island heaven!

A hidden gem! This suite was the absolute best spot to spend our week on the Big Island. Paul and Kay were excellent hosts. Paul greeted us as we arrived and answered questions as they arose. The pool and hot tub, along with the quiet backyard, provided the perfect oasis for a week of relaxing in the sun. The suite had everything we needed to cook meals and be comfortable. We cannot wait to return again!

Our host Paul was always helpful and accommodating, including in communications before our arrival. The apartment is clean and comfortable, with everything needed during our stay. The ocean view is spectacular! Peaceful and quiet, perfect for our much-needed getaway. The location is quite convenient to restaurants and shopping, and to night snorkling with the manta rays, my favorite activity! We went on a day trip to Volcanos National Park, and they picked us up right at the house. Overall, a lovely stay and we'd be happy to return someday.

The property is right over the ocean looking South over a small bay. There are two suites in the lower level of the host's home, with the host residing above. They do a good job keeping to themselves, so having them there was the same as having a neighbor in a condo. The other suite was unoccupied until our last day. We had the backyard, pool, and spa to ourselves until the last day when we got neighbors. Much better than sharing a condo complex poo/yard where you don't know what those many kids have been leaving in the water. The unit is a bit odd with respect to kitchen. If you don't care about food prep, no issue at all. But be aware the kitchen is spread across the bedroom for coffee maker, bathroom for one counter and cabinets, foyer for toaster oven microwave, fridge, and dishes, and outside for sink, counter, cabinet, and gas grill. In the end, it works, but going through doors for different things is a pain. Also, no problem having no stove, and the electric fry pan works, but it would be nice to have a simple induction hot-plate and a few pans to cook with.
