Everything was super clean and tidy when we arrived. I loved the thoughtful touches by the host! House was very well stocked with spices and dishes if wanted to cook in the house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to go to the Charleston area that doesn’t want to be right downtown.

Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet, comfortable. Treats when we arrived were so thoughtful. Everything you could possibly need was made available. We loved it!!

We had an excellent stay. The house was immaculate. JD has thought of everything. (There were even had ear buds for our use.) We especially appreciated that our dog was welcome in such a desirable, upscale place. We hope to come back again next year in the Fall for colors.

Sparrows Nest was absolutely charming. It is immaculate with many little touches of luxury and comfort. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time. JD and Karen were lovely hosts and thought of so many little things to make our stay perfect.

Atmosphere, cleanliness, location, attentiveness of owner for our needs, utensils, dish/glassware aplenty and just the all around niceties of the property were great!Watching the birds was fun, Jack our cat enjoyed watching as well.Only able to stay (2) nights, would have liked to stay longer., You can’t go wrong here.

The house was very clean, nicely decorated without being cluttered, and it wasn't stocked with garage sale leftovers. We have rented houses from Austin to Marco Island to Hilton Head, and this was one of our favorites.We will be back.

This was by far one of the Best VRBO's that I have stayed in. Great location, very private.You walk in the door and your are greeted with a wonderful dining room/kitchen and living room. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. Snacks, coffee, wine - Absolutely a wonderful surprise and to no surprise the bedrooms and bathroom were also fantastic. This place was very clean and offered a home away from home vibe. We brought our dog and they had accommodations for him as well.To sum it up WONDERFUL!

Had an out of State family wedding to attend in the area there and didn't want the typical hotel stay. Went out on a limb and secured our first ever Vrbo. Everything was just perfect. Very clean with attention to everything you'd possibly need. Felt like a home away from home. Had the pleasure of meeting the host(s) JD and his Wife Karen. Extremely gracious and easy going. Just good people. Definitely my place to stay if / when I come back to revisit.

Had more than one would need! Such nice kitcen and dinnerware. Snacks, waters, stocked coffee options and a nice surprise treat left for us. Bedding was so soft. Literally the best hosts and place we have stayed at and we have been all over the country! We can't say enough good things!

This was the best VRBO rental we have experienced. The space is even nicer than the pictures portray. The hosts left us wanting for nothing. The attention to detail was impeccable, with lots of small treats and surprises that made us feel so special. We stayed at the Sparrows Nest as a stop over point for a longer trip. This is by far the best VRBO experience we've had. The house was beautiful, set amongst trees so we could bird watch from the living room. The amenities in the house were on par with a 4 star hotel as well. We couldnt have been happier.

We had a fantastic stay at your property. My wife, son, and dog enjoyed sitting on the expansive deck listening and viewing a variety of birds visiting the bird feeder and nearby trees. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to cook all of our meals with ease. The layout of the property is well designed giving us more than enough room to enjoy family time and independence. We were in town to see a show at Mountain Stage and the location was perfect to drive in and out of Charleston. We plan to come back and book this property next time we are in the area.

Obvious effort was made for guest comfort – from the super soft bedding and bath linens, to the couch with cozy blankets that made you want to stay just a little bit longer. And no laundry list of chores we needed to complete upon check out!

My husband, 14-month-old, dog, and parents all stayed here 1 night for a concert. We LOVED our stay and were so impressed with the cleanliness, gifts, safety factors for our toddler and dog, and the view! Not to mention, the restaurants the listing recommended were fantastic! I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this is one of the best ever. The house is charming and simply delightful. We were warmly welcomed by the owner with a bottle of wine and basket of treats, including dog biscuits for our dog! The house is very well-appointed—the owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Beautiful dish and glassware in the kitchen—lovely details in the bathrooms—a cozy living area with games and info about the area—no details were overlooked. I can’t wait to stay here again! It is a fabulous place!

My family and I stayed for 4 days/3 nights. Sparrows Nest was an awesome stay for our family. Very quiet and clean home. Owners provided a well stocked home for the stay and we were very pleased. We shared this place with our extended family to host our 2024 Christmas party. Owners were very friendly and responded to all questions we had. We will be booking for future stays in Charleston WV.

We came for work for the week. Thi home was cute and cozy and very pet friendly! Thry had dog bowls, sheets to put on the furniture, utility towles near the door to wipe paws. Yoshi loved the dog treats!! There were treats for us too! Thanks for the wine and biscuits!! The bathrooms were great! beautiful

My wife and I stayed here with our dog for a get away weekend in Charleston. This VRBO is the best one we’ve stayed at by far. Everything you can think of is provided including super soft bedding, towels, and dog treats. Nothing but quality and quantity provided. JD was super helpful, long story short we got locked out very late around 2 am and knocked on a neighbors door who was very nice and then contacted JD who quickly responded and cheerfully helped us get back in. Awesome hospitality and service. Great location, Coonskin park is right around the corner which our dog loved. We will no question be back when staying in the Charleston area. You won’t regret!

It was my second time to stay at Sparrow's Nest and it was as wonderful as the last time. It is a lovely decorated home, with a well appointed kitchen. A lot of attention and craftmanship went into designing it. It is very clean with high end finishing touches. It is a great place to relax, from snuggling in the soft , plush bedding to just enjoying sitting on the deck watching the birds at the feeder. It is a great place to recharge.

Sparrow's Nest is a wonderful place to relax. The attention to detail is excellent. My wife and I couldn't have wanted to anything more. And, the host is great. Hickory nuts falling on the deck was just a fun reminder of being away from the fray and enjoying the moment.

Were in town for a concert and the rental did not disappoint. Super clean in a quiet location with owners that went above and beyond for an enjoyable, stress-free stay.
