Sparkling Gulf View From A Partially Covered Deck

Great location, Very close to the beach, you can hear the waves crashing, peaceful. The kitchen has everything you need. I suggest you buy groceries and bring them with you as there is only small stores in the area.

It was over all a wonderful trip! Everything worked . The only issue the master bedroom could use a new mattress. But we made due.

First the pros: Bucky was very friendly and helpful. We were even able to check into the house a day early. The house is very cute and the back deck is a great feature. The location is very nice and close to the beach. The house was clean when we arrived. Also, as others have stated, the home was very well stocked with amenities. Now the cons: Within just a couple of hours of arriving, we had found the end of a joint in a stand in the living room. and then 2 days later, we started to see random bugs in the home which turned out to be German and Palmetto cockroaches. We decided to leave early on Thursday morning and make the 16 hour drive home even though we had paid for the home until Saturday. I was not able to stay comfortably in the home & I was not willing to take the chance of transporting the bugs back to our new home. We vacation to the beach every year and have never had any issues with any type of bug, but this was our first time visiting this specific area, so maybe the bugs are common there? I honestly don't know. I did leave a note for the housekeeper regarding these issues along with a tip for her because as I had stated previously, the home was clean upon arrival so I don't feel that the bug issue was her fault. I read the reviews before I booked this home and they were all positive so maybe we just hit it at a bad time of year.

The host was very welcoming. The home offered great privacy and a good view of the gulf. It was clean and had about every amenity you could ask for. The close public beach access was a plus. It was a perfect fit for a family of 5 with a pet. Would stay there again

Very nice property. Niki was very accommodating. They have multiple smartTVs so you can log in with your streaming services as well as some of the services provided. AC was brand new and worked great. Short walk to the beach and a view of the waves from the back deck. Nice place.

This home was conveniently located to the beach but it could definitely use some upgrades from the furniture to the kitchen dishes, pots, pans etc. Outdoor furniture was rusty and worn. The oven appeared to be from the 70's and the towels were very ragged.

We had a great time! The owner and manager were awesome! Will stay here again!

We were told that check in would be around 1pm to 2pm but were not able to check in until nearly 6pm. The property is pet friendly but there was dog hair all over the place. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the place due to having a 10 month old crawling around on a fur covered floor. We killed 4 grown roaches and missed one that got away. No telling how many we did not see. There was silverware with dried on food so we felt compelled to wash everything before using them. The TV's were not working when we checked in and the housekeeper was still there trying to fix the problem. My son remedied the problem in 5 minutes. The location is great but the condition of the property was in a very unclean condition. After our stay I reported the problems to the owner and he responded that he would address the conditions we reported. Unacceptable. I feel that we should have been reimbursed a cleaning fee for the mess we had to deal with. We have been vacationing at St George for over 30 years and have never experienced a property this nasty. Please beware.

Convenient walk to the beach. The owner even provided beach chairs and a cart. The bed was very comfortable, a must for me! The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space to work in. We loved the deck and spent lots of time out there. Cant wait for our next visit.
