Spacious Rapid City Retreat with Black Hills Views and Close Interstate Access

The kitchen had everything we needed. My family had a wonderful time.

Great property for our needs between home sales. Cozy and well stocked with towels and bedding. My dogs were comfortable and enjoyed the very large yard and open areas surrounding the home. Convenient location near town and the highway. Thank you.

We love the location, the view is amazing and the house is very spacious. It was exactly what we needed, and it was very close to the venue that we had this week.

Host was very kind, answered messages fairly quickly and we really appreciated him going to shovel and de-ice the walkway for us.The house was very roomy, ample seating and lighting, making it feel like home.The kitchen was well stocked with just about anything you might need. There were a lot of options for cooking and food prep, all appliances were basically brand new.The bathrooms were also well stocked with shampoos, conditioner, lotion, soap and body wash. A lot of towels were available if you'd need them, and options of roll away beds were available, but we didn't need them, plenty of linens, pillows and blankets were also there if we needed them.This was a very nice place to stay, it truly felt like they cared a lot about any situation their guests may need.The next time we need to travel to Rapid City, we will stay here again, with no hesitation!

This was a wonderful location and perfect for our needs. The home was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. The land it sits on was great for traveling with pets with 2 acres and a short walking path on site. We had all the basic amenities needed. Host was responsive. Would definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful rental for my sister and I to stay with our children. It is clean, beds are comfortable, and there is lots of room for kids to play games.

The house was well stocked with lots of essentials including soaps, tissues, paper goods, towels and linens. The location was quiet and just outside of town. The owners were quick to response and super friendly.

The property was spacious, clean and well appointed. The website misrepresented the number of beds available. There were three sets of bunkbeds shown but only one set of bunkbeds in the room. Thus we were short four beds that we were expecting. Additionally, there were no doors to the bathroom in the primary bedroom. This made our large group uncomfortable.

We had a family of 8 and this house was perfect. Great location to base our adventures in the Black Hills. The house inside was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

This was perfect for our family reunion. We had plenty of room and we really felt at home. We would definitely recommend and return for another visit.

Great view overlooking the valley, quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a larger family with plenty of beds. Andrew was exceptionally responsive to any questions we had and couldn't have been anymore accommodating.

This house worked well for us. It was a good location, a large and comfortable house. It was perfect for our four families with a total of 13 people.

The house was nice, but just curtains on the door openings to the M bath and stool area. The exterior of the home look abandon. Yard overgrown, tall weeds in the landscaping beds. We could see the house was on a very beautiful property with a nice view. It just wasn't taken care of.The deck on the back was in bad shape. They did have a sign that read, DECK UNDER REPAIRIt was in need of repair, but wasn't under repair.

Great location! Just on the outskirt of the city which allowed for easy access to anything we might need but also gave our dogs plenty of space and yard to roam. The host was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond. Kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed. Very happy with our stay, I would highly recommend this property!

Place was perfect for 4 friends meeting up last minute to celebrate a friends life. Host was great to work with and very responsive gave 5 stars on everything cause it wouldnt let em 10 stars. The view of the city was also a nice treat!

It was so nice the 1st time that we had to come again! Plenty of space both indoor and outdoor. Andrew is always accessible and quick to respond to any questions. A fully provisioned kitchen made dining in a breeze. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

This beautiful home is set in a location with a view and no congestion..yet close to everywhere we wanted to go..will definitely stay there again if they'll have us!

Our Christmas was special. This housr was decorated for christmas and was just right size for our family of 14. Ages from 1 to 80.

Incredible property! Clean, roomy and quiet. I didn’t want to leave the house. This home sits on an abundant acreage so your pet will have plenty of room to stretch their legs. I’m already planning my next stay here.

First let me send mega kudos for communication and accommodation. We needed a DVD player to play family movies and a working grill. He responded and gave us both, no problem. The house itself was beautiful and allowed gathering space as well as space to remove oneself from the chaos. It was in a very private setting with a beautiful vista. The ONLY thing lacking was kitchen equipment. Thankfully we brought an electric frypan. There were two pots. A wok and a 5 qt pot. Utensils were sparce. There was plenty of plates, etc. Only 4 wine glasses for a family of 6. With this said, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your home with us over the holidays

Lots of room inside the house for hanging out and sleeping. The yard was nice and kids had fun playing outside. Great views of the city and close to lots of the South Dakota sites.

We enjoy the stay great private location was little confusing to get to but we found it and we all enjoyed the place.

We booked this house for a last-minute funeral out of state, needing space for extended family. After some of them found alternative lodging, I no longer needed as much space. Andrew, the host, was incredibly responsive and understanding. He even offered us a reduced rate so we wouldn’t have to search for a new option, which was greatly appreciated! The house is an older property, likely undergoing renovations, with new, clean kitchen appliances and spotless bathrooms. The bedrooms were spacious, especially the Master, which comfortably fit my husband and I, our two boys, and our luggage. There were two folding single beds we didn’t use, but fitting them into the other rooms with the queen beds could be a tight squeeze. The kids loved the large TVs in the bedrooms. The shared spaces were a good size, though seating for larger groups may be limited. We were a group of 9, and while the sofa, loveseat, and recliner were comfortable, additional seating was dining chairs or counter stools. We moved the loveseat to join the sofa and recliner to watch TV as a family. The kitchen was adequate but more sparse than other rentals. While the host generously provided coffee options, there may not be enough tableware for large groups, so consider bringing extra supplies (including salt & pepper). Overall, our stay was pleasant, the house was clean, and Andrew’s accommodation made the experience much smoother!

The owner was very accommodating, we had a couple of issues but they were resolved right away. The outside of the property is perfect for family gatherings or outside play. The inside was nice. It still had some remodeling going on so little issues with that. The beds were a little hard for us but we just like softer beds. The master bedroom was perfectly set up for my son and his four children to stay, that was actually the selling point for It's nestled in a hill area so very peaceful.
