Spacious oceanfront duplex with two kitchens, large deck, WiFi, & AC - dogs OK

We had a fabulous time inside and outside! Beautiful beach and enjoyed all the creatures(, jellyfish, crabs, deer, and a fox)!

Took 2 days to get shower drain unclogged. 2 of the sliders going outside had no locks. Felt uneasy leaving house for long periods.

The location is great and very convenient to the beach. If you are simply looking for a home close to the beach, this is it. There are no bells or whistles. We rented both sides of the duplex— the middle rooms (queen rooms) are very small and do not have TVs. The home is outdated and needs quite a bit of upgrades. The sliding doors on each side of the home were difficult and required a lot of effort to open and close. Unfortunately one side of the duplex lost water for half a day during our stay. However, our maintenance guy was quick to come out and assess the situation. He ended up getting a plumber to the home and resolving it that day. I didn’t realize at booking that a grill was not an amenity for this property, and a few weeks before our stay I contacted Vacasa to confirm. After learning there is not a grill, it was disappointing to learn guests are not permitted to bring their own grill to use at the property. For my family, grilling is a highlight for beach trips. The house was mostly clean upon arrival, except for the carpets. On our second day, I vacuumed both floors of one side of the duplex and the tank was full of dirt/hair each time. For the cost, I’m not sure our family will visit this home again for future vacations.

The interior is due for an update but it was serviceable. Great great location!

The location of this house was perfect, it's towards the end of the main road and it was nice an quiet. It's right on the beach, the walk down is super easy and convenient. The house could definitely use some work, both cleanliness and maintenance wise. I had to call maintenance 3 separate times during our stay for various issues, while they were very helpful, no one wants to spend their vacation on hold with maintenance. If all you care about is being close to the beach and having somewhere comfortable to stay, I would recommend this house. If you're looking for a luxury vacation home, this isn't the place for you.

Wrote out hurricane Ian here. We had both sides. We are both older so the steps are a little tough but we made it. Nice view. I would recommend a few upgrades. Otherwise thank you so much for letting us stay in your place. We had a oceanfront place for 10 years on Holden and we love it there. The fall season has changed because of Covid. Many more people than usual. Look forward to returning in the future
