Victor, Idaho
Enjoy your perfect mountain retreat in our light-filled, spacious home. This secluded 13+ acre private forest offers an idyllic escape with breathtaking views, wildlife, and trails as your backyard. Minutes away from Grand Targhee and easy access to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park.
Our home is perched on the mountain and surrounded by beautiful forest. With 4-bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, and lots of natural light, it will be the perfect fit for a peaceful but active vacation. The master bedroom is located on the upper level, with a king-sized bed, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Step out on the balcony for a sweeping view of the valley.
On the main level are an open family room, dining room, and kitchen area, perfect for any family event. There are two bedrooms on the main level: one with a California King bed and walk-in closet, and the other with a single and designated office space. Ideal for those who might need to squeeze in a few working hours between activities. The main floor has a full bathroom, with tub and shower and a washer/dryer is available for any clothing recovery needed
In the lower level you'll find a small exercise facility, with an elliptical and a Nordictrack Nordicflex home gym for anyone wanting to grab a quick indoor workout. There is also a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom with a shower on this level. Lots of storage room for your skis, bikes and any other gear you want protected from the elements.
Our property offers guests unique hiking trails back to the Wyoming State line. Feel free to explore! The trail begins directly out the back door and ends nearly a mile away at the Wyoming line. The line is marked by a barbed-wire fence---be careful not to trip on it as many deer, elk, and moose have trampled it! Given our mountain location, you will likely see plenty of wildlife and we would ask you to be cautious and respectful of any that you may come across.
Located in Victor, Idaho but between the downtown of Victor and Driggs, you'll have plenty of options to grab a quick bite on your way in or out. Swing by Pierre's Playhouse and be sure to stop at the Emporium for a huckleberry shake and a taste of the local scene. If you choose to head to Driggs, don't forget to visit The Spud drive-in theater for a double feature on a Friday night. For the best pizza in town, try the brand new Tatonka Tavern. This is the perfect location to enjoy small-town charm while seated outdoors on the balcony.
With Grand Targhee only minutes away and biking or skiing at your disposal, it doesn't matter if it's a winter or summer visit. Jackson is only 30 minutes over the pass and Yellowstone is an easy day trip. With skiing, biking, rafting, fishing, climbing, hiking, and kayaking, this is an outdoor paradise! We're happy to provide any suggestions that might make your stay more pleasant!
Our home brings the outside in with landscape artwork by Teton local Rich Grimes. All artwork is available for purchase through the artist with additional information found in the Teton House Guide.

This house has just about everything you could possibly need. It has a very well-stocked kitchen. Large family room and nice master bedroom upstairs with oversized (jet) tub. The property/lot is huge with lots of trees and no neighbors in site. It’s about a 20 minute drive into Driggs. Would def stay here again!
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you for opening your home.
Loved the cabin and the location. It's the perfect getaway spot.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! Shane and his family were the perfect host allowing us to use their beautiful log cabin home for the week. It was the perfect getaway to relax and decompress. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and nestled in the cozy hills of Victor, Idaho just outside of Jackson, Wyoming with private acreage and nature all around us. Shane was quick to respond if we had any questions about the property. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The time we spent out west was absolutely incredible. It’s the perfect place to end every evening after hiking in the Grand Tetons, shopping in Jackson Hole, or a day trip to Yellowstone. The quaint town of Driggs was a short drive 5-10 min at the most from our cabin and had several great local restaurants ( The Royal Wolf) (Tatanka Tavern) and eclectic shopping (The Velvet Moose). We caught Music on Main Street one evening in Victor with a local band and enjoyed the camaraderie of the community. In Victor, The Emporium is known for their famous Huckleberry shakes along with a few other chill places to visit such as Brakemen’s Burgers or the local fresh farmers market, or the local Brewery, The luxurious cabin made our stay complete and gave us the opportunity to create memories of a lifetime visiting the majestic mountains of the Tetons. We are already planning another trip for next year! Thanks so much, Shane for an unforgettable adventure.
We loved our stay.
nice area good place to stay for yellowstone teton area
An absolutely wonderful home nestled in a beautiful and private mountain setting. Shane made all the planning and communication easy and his home was a perfect adventure base for our family.
The property is up a winding dirt road so it took a bit of time to come and go, but it was worth it. Lots of privacy and nice sunset.
We had an amazing stay! House was located just west of the Tetons. The drive to Jackson was a beautiful one through the mountain roads. It was nice to escape the busyness of tourism. The home was gorgeous, well maintained, clean and decorated perfectly! Great communication from Shane and so cooperative when we had an adjustment to be made on the number in our party. Everything was absolutely perfect! Would stay there in a heartbeat again. Thanks for the memories as we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with our grown children and one grandchild. ❤️
Owner was extremely helpful with helping us to find local outfitters. Home was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked. Lovely property.
This cabin was the perfect base for our trip to Driggs. We had two families and everyone was comfortable. The cabin is secluded and surrounded by absolutely beautiful forest but just minutes from hiking, biking and other outdoor activities that Driggs and Victor are known for. We ate most of our meals here and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We’d definitely love to stay here again.
