Stayed Jul 5, 2025This was our 4th time staying at this location and it was a lovely time as always. Easy to bike to the beach or Nest for coffee/snacks. The kitchen is well set up for cooking and layout is good for our family. The office off the kitchen provides a nice quiet area to read or work if you unfortunately need to work.

Stayed May 1, 2024The keys to enter the home were a bit tricky. Recommend a keyless code entry, especially when the door locks behind you. The deck could benefit from a refinish coating of polyurethane? Host was very accommodating and responsive!

Stayed Apr 1, 2024The owner was great about responding to questions prior to our trip. However, we still didn’t realize we were staying within a huge resort where amenities are reserved for resort guests only. Nonetheless, at owner’s suggestion we booked bikes through Alligator Bikes and this was an absolute must. Biking is easy and safe on Kiawah. Beach access was also pretty easy, a five minute ride. The house is pretty and comfortable. Nice Apple TV setup. We loved the green sunroom! Overall we had a fun time exploring the beaches and spending time in this beautiful area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our week here very much. The house is very clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. It feels like you are alone in the woods as you can hardly see the neighboring houses. The owner was very responsive to a couple of small issues and requests. Highly recommended.

Stayed Sep 2, 2022Our family of four spent 2-weeks at this home and we loved it! It was exactly as listed and Ken is the most helpful and gracious host. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We were amazed at how easy it is to get around the island by bike, beach access is a short bike ride and the shopping at Freshfields has everything you need (restaurants, food, post office, clothing, etc.). We spent a couple of days in Charleston, a few rounds of golf on Kiawah, headed to Seabrook Island for lunch and dinner at the Bohicket Marina, hit the beach and bike trails almost every day and looked forward to relaxing evenings on the deck. The house is centrally located on Kiawah and fully stocked with plenty of towels, linens and cookware (I am already missing the 6-burner gas stove). Thank you Ken for sharing your home and we look forward to coming back!

Stayed Apr 29, 2022This is a beautiful and roomy mid-century modern home that has been tastefully updated with a new kitchen and 2 baths. The owners obviously take great pride and care of the property. It's located in a really nice neighborhood not far from the entrance to Kiawah. A network of bike paths connect the neighborhood to everything on the island. The home has a spacious and bright living/dining room and nice kitchen, which combines with another cozy seating areas. The house has lots of slider doors and windows - all with screens - so we were able to take advantage of the great weather and cross-breeze. There is mature landscaping combined with natural jungle to give the home lots of privacy from adjacent homes. Very comfortable for 3 couples.
