Welcome to our spacious and peaceful 4-bedroom Hawaiian home in Pāhoa, set on 3.2 acres of farmland for a quiet Big Island stay with room to breathe.

The house features three extra-large bedrooms and all tile flooring throughout, keeping the space cool, clean, and comfortable, with 1 smaller room that is cozy. There is one full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and shampoo and conditioner are provided for your convenience. Guests will also find plenty of fresh, clean bath and handtowels available.

The home includes a simple galley kitchen equipped with a full-size 4-burner electric stove, full refrigerator, and microwave, perfect for preparing everyday meals. Coffee lovers are covered — we provide a coffee maker, coffee grinder, and coffee at no extra cost.

A washer and dryer are available on site (dryer is currently coin-operated; coins are provided for guest use).

The main living room is open and comfortable, featuring a large marble table, two couches, and plenty of seating for gathering, relaxing, or planning your island adventures. Verizon Wi-Fi is available.

Outside, enjoy the backyard fire pit and the natural surroundings. The property is largely overgrown farmland, giving guests a sense of privacy and space — adventurous guests are welcome to explore the grounds at their own pace. While trees now partially block the view, the ocean is still faintly visible from parts of the property.

The land is home to chickens, along with papaya trees, avocado trees, noni fruit, and seasonal tropical apples. There are also several coconut trees for those feeling ambitious. Two green parrots live on the property as well — they don’t speak much English, but they’re curious, entertaining, and fun to interact with.

Parking is easy with a gated asphalt driveway and space for up to three guest vehicles.

This is a relaxed, authentic Big Island home — clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Once you stay, you’ll understand why so many guests feel right at home here.

This was a wonderful stay! The house is spacious and the property has fruit trees and character. The hosts were the best! They were so helpful and had great communication. They genuinely care.

The host was welcoming. The house was clean. If you want full kitchen and dining, this may not be the place for you. No outdoor lanai/patio area. Ten cars in the yard when we arrived.

This house is just as advertised. It is 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Sitting room and laundry. No kitchen or dinning room. It has a washing machine and dryer that are coin operated, so bring quarters if you are going to do laundry. There are limited towels, so bring your own. The fridge is full of owners food so don't bring any fresh or frozen food as there is no place to put it. Make sure your only have one car as the parking is limited as property owners have multiple cars in driveway. Also add 30 minutes to any drive times you are planning for as you are out on a dead end road that is 30 minutes back to main island highway. The property is fairly out of the way so it is pretty quiet, except for roosters that wake up at 3. O'clock in the morning, but its a farm so what do you expect. It is very dark as there is very few houses around so the night sky is beautiful, lots of stars. Plan to do all your own food arrangements when you are in Hilo as there are no reasteraunts within 25 miles of house. And there is no kitchen to prepare much. A stove that shares a power outlet with dryer that you have to change to use either one. And a small micro wave to heat small items. Limited dishes and only a laundry sink to clean up in. Home is all tile floors so floor is cold bring slippers for night walking to bathroom. And there are no brooms or other cleaning tools so floor gets dirty fast. Be ready for that. If you are a clean person who worries about dirt on floor this place isn't for you. Only had 2 odd things that happened while we stayed. The first night we had unexpected visitors. Owners kids or family came into house and where under the influence. They where unaware that home had been rented and they came in expecting to use house. They where mad that we where there. Left with out causing any more than scared whits. As it was 3.ooam in the morning. And they were drunk. The other event was an unexpected wild pig that came into the yard and made a bunch of noise. Woke us up but didn't bother us. Other that this we had a pleasant stay. Wasn't quite what I was expecting when I booked home but it was not a bad place. A little odd location and spars on chairs but we were not there to stay at house all day. Just a place to crash at night.
