Spacious home with sunroom, yard, & fireplace - close to town & sites

Absolutely perfect

The property had plenty of space for a large family. The location was also perfect. The home was lovely.

Upon opening the front door with a Christmas wreath on it in late March, the mothball smell was overwhelming and off putting as soon as we walked in. Then upon walking into the kitchen to put things for our stay away I noticed dirty,unmaintained, worn kitchen cabinets. They are filthy on the inside and outside, they are sticky and greasy. The drawer pulls are loose and spin when you try to use them. The fridge stunk. In the living room, the loveseat’s back leg is broken. Sunroom chairs are stained with white substance. An open and spilled trash bag was left next to the outdoor shower. There were trash containers with trash inside the outdoor shower. I did not pick it up or move it. The garage smells of cigar/cigarette smoke. The carpet on the 2nd floor has many bleach stains on it. The bathroom throw rugs appear dirty, worn and matted down. The living room fireplace's remote is missing. Dining table chairs were sticky which I noticed after sitting down and the sticky substance transferred to my pants. I found the mattress comfortable but some of the linens were torn and stained and the primary bedroom linens were very rough. Some important soap dispensers in the showers/baths were empty. The property is not being well maintained and obviously is being managed by a corporate management company and not by an invested owner. Additionally, the listing is really a Vacasa rental not VRBO.

Having communication about the fireplace not working and that someone would be coming over to fix it, and ensuring any maintenance people knock before entering.

Unlocking the door to this beautiful home, opened the perfect setting for our annual Mother/Daughter Reunion. We were so pleased with the spacious accommodations with its charming appointments. From the open kitchen to charming bedrooms, all our needs were not only met, but surpassed. The outside area was exquisite. We loved our deck time and took in the beauty of the manicured grounds. Location, location, location… this home has it all! Highly recommended!!

This is a great house! Very spacious with so many nice touches. The exterior was amazing! Loved all the sitting/gathering areas. If only there was a third full bathroom to help shorten the showering time every morning, but no worries we managed and enjoyed every moment we were there.

Beautiful grounds, beautiful home. Enjoyed the location very much. The local market was nice but the Wells market was a better option. Ping pong table was a blast. We would highly recommend!!!

We loved the home and really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and you could walk down to the beach if you wanted. It was far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, but a short drive or walk to town or the beach. We would stay here again and wished we had more days this time.

Great, clean property located close (walking disntance) to downtown Ogunquit, spacious for families with kids.

Location, space for families,

The house is spacious and lovely. The location is perfect- walkable to Perkins Cove as advertised and it’s on a quiet street. The house was very clean. It’s well equipped except for baking supplies (no mixer or mixing bowl) and the ping pong paddles were broken and beat. We enjoyed playing with the 2 useable but crummy paddles. Couldn’t play doubles. There were Lots of lobster supplies which was great.There were lots of fees added on and vacasa was not accommodating. Since it was a week from the season we asked ahead if we could use deck furniture, grill and firepit. We got a flat no. They could have told us the grill was there- so were the chairs- we had to lug the cushions up from the basement though and had to find our own wood. It was 75 degrees so we wanted to be outside. We’ve been at vacasa properties before where we even got welcome wine- so disappointing that they couldn’t accommodate our pretty minor request

This house is simply AMAZING! Had the best time with family, we cooked, drank Prosecco and made a ton of memories! Cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much!

Wonderful house with plenty of room. Quiet and secluded but close to beaches and restaurants. Comfortable and well decorated.

The house was spacious and conveniently located to town. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck and using the fire pit at night. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely go back.

We love the house and the yard. The house is spacious and can host 2 families of 4 each comfortably. The outdoor is well kept and the deck with gas grill and the firepit were a perfect add-on to the property. The house is only 10 minutes from the beach!
