Spacious Home, Steps to the Beach w/ Marsh Views

VERY nice home right across the street from the beach. Would highly recommend this place!

The beach view was great!! The house was nice and clean. The bottom front bedroom floor was sandy, but we swept it. We enjoyed staying in the Oyster House. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The only real complaint was the top floor air was not cool enough at times. The air in the bottom two bedrooms was nice and cool though. Easy check in and communication with the host was good.

The Oyster House is a lovely, well appointed home with direct views of the ocean and marsh. The large kitchen has everything you need plus more. The beds and bedding is fresh, clean and comfortable. But most of all, our Hosts treated us like family. They were professional, personable and showed exceptional kindness which is a rarity today. If you are looking for a place with a great location, beautiful views, nicely appointed interior, stop looking. You’ve found it. Book it quickly.

Great beach house for a crowd. Road construction right now in front of the place, but that did not deter the fun. Well stocked kitchen for cooking! Really appreciate that all cleaning necessities like dishwasher soap, trash bags, etc… were provided.

I cannot thank Randall and Karina enough. We had an issue with our stay that was not in their control. It caused us to have to be relocated to another rental after our first night there. They had been wonderful in all of our pre-stay communication, even allowing our group that was arriving at different times with an early entry to accommodate everyone. The next day , they went above and beyond to arrange alternate accommodations to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in St. Augustine. We loved Oyster House and would highly recommend the location and working with Randall and Karina on this rental.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had.The photos and description did not reflect the actual location of the house. It is situated right next to a busy highway that runs along the beach, and there is constant traffic noise. To access the beach, you have to cross this highway, and there is no crosswalk nearby, which felt unsafe—especially with kids.Additionally, there is major construction right on the beach where a hotel is being built. Construction machinery starts working around 6:00 AM, creating significant noise early in the morning.We arrived in the evening, but the conditions were so uncomfortable that we spent hours on the phone with VRBO and the host. In the end, we had to leave early the next morning.We originally booked 5 nights, but the host only agreed to a 50% refund.It’s very disappointing to have such an experience during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

The home was nice, clean, and fit everyone well. We had 10 guests and it felt spacious. It is just steps to the beach. There are plenty of nice bathrooms. There is laundry on site. The views are relaxing with partial ocean and partial intracoastal waterway views. This gives great sunrise and sunset ambiance. The location is close to saint Augustine. There is a grocery store right down the road. The host was quick to respond to all messages and was kind. Checking in and out was easy. We would stay again and will keep it in mind for future trips.

We had a great time! There was a maintenance issue but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. They did everything in their power to make us comfortable.

Didn’t like late check in and such early check out! Electric problems and lights in areas didnt work 1st 24 hrs;Managers did send an electrician which were in the house for a couple hours. They were nice and so were the managers, but it was inconvenient..Location okay but you have to cross a very busy and potentially dangerous road to get to the beach.Vilano Beach area was nice and convenient location to Saint Augustine.

We had a wonderful stay. Location was amazing, hosts were very responsive, everything was clean and well kept. Traffic along A1A was louder than expected. Loved having dinner on the back porch overlooking the marsh and being walking distance from the beach.

Randy and Karina have provided everything you need for a great time at the beach, which is right across the street. The house is comfortable and modern with a well appointed kitchen and delicious coffee provided. Great ocean views and we all had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The morning views were terrific! Just a quick walk across the street and you're at the beach for beautiful sunrises! Our family picked up some beautiful shells, completely intact (which in my opinion is rare!). Grocery story is so convenient being just a few minutes away! And so easy to get to the downtown area. Would stay here again for sure! Very nice and accommodating management!

Randy and Karina came through for us with the perfect house to save our disaster of a trip!

Had siblings together for an 80th birthday gathering. The house was great - clean, nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen, good location just a short drive from downtown and well stocked with incidentals! The only funky issues were the access from downstairs to upstairs main floors was an outside stairway and access to one of the downstairs bedrooms was thru the other bedroom. But there are separate baths and each did have outside access from inside. We had a wonderful time!!!

We enjoyed the property’s location. It’s very easy to get on the beach. The property was very clean, spacious, and decorated so nicely. The kitchen is amazing and was thoroughly used. The property owner promptly took care of any needs that came up.

St Augustine is magical at Christmas. The house was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do.

The house had everything we needed for the 3.5 days we were there. A real easy walk to the beach. Would rent it again if the need arose for us to be in the St. Augustine area.

From the moment we booked Karina & Randy we’re on top of it. Sent a great outline of how everything worked, codes, WiFi log ins etc, a very good read when going to a place you have never been. On top of that, two different storms/hurricanes came thru , one just passed as we were coming in, and they did a great job of re assuring us before we got there of the weather and what to expect. All of our previous hosts were very good, but feel these two went beyond expectations! We will be back in the future.
