Spacious getaway with heated pool and spa 5 min from beach.

The house and pool were amazing! The only complaint is the fourth bedroom was a double bed, not a queen, but not a deal breaker. The pool and patio are covered by a screen which kept out any flying insects and allowed us to use the pool and patio at all hours with no bugs. The house is fully equipped, including a margarita machine which we fully utilized! The golf cart was a bonus and made our trips to the beach so much easier. The host was immediately responsive to any questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property- our first encounter of what this rental had to offer came as we turned into the gated neighborhood and soaked up the beautiful properties. We arrived at this property and we were pleasantly surprised that it looked just like the posting pictures (only very minor differences came from just a few signs of wear / couple of carpet stains, which we accepted to mean that the home has been enjoyed by some before us and that it was now our turn to enjoy as well). Our daily ritual for a week in July began by waking up and loading up the new condition 6 person golf cart which was included and taking an easy less than 5 minute casual ride to the beach. Once the mid-summer sun cooked us well on the beach, we would head back to the house and enjoy the pool until cleaning up for dinner or heading out for one of the many Destin attractions. Elizabeth, the property manager, was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Destin.

The property was as decribed for the most part and the neighborhood was wonderful! We were surprised with a golf cart option! We will certainly be going back to Destin soon and staying in the same neighborhood. However, we will probably choose a different property. We were disappointed that the pool and spa were not functioning upon arrival. We also experienced one of the showers not working properly. The property manager was very responsive and was able to get the shower functionable but never able to get the pool n spa working during our stay. We tried to use the community pool but only 2 of us could go at a time due to wrist band restrictions (we were a party of 9). Some of the lights were not working and the kids found cigarette butts all over. Plants were dead and/or dying around the pool. We had to kill several roaches during our stay as well. The property manager did offer compensation in the form of a cleaning fee refund or an extra night stay free of charge. We accepted the extra night due to the location and beauty of Destin. Can't wait to visit again!
