No4 Skidden Gardens is a charming Georgian town house built of Cornish granite with lots of character and outside space (a rarity in St Ives!) Recently refurbished it offers light and airy accommodation on three floors. Extremely convenient for the beach and exploring the town and harbour there are 4 spacious double bedrooms, ( one with a large balcony overlooking harbour with fabulous sea views) a large family bathroom, large open plan lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen. WC. Private courtyard from kitchen to rear with outside hot/ cold shower. Lovely south facing garden to the front. WIFI. There are steps down to the front door but rear access to courtyard is on the level making it suitable for the less able. Please read more info in our owners profile.

    We spent a wonderful week at Claire’s beautiful house in St Ives. The house was very stylish, comfortable and well equipped. There is a lovely back terrace, front garden and fabulous balcony with a sea view. The house is very central but also quiet. Claire was such an excellent host and we would definitely return.

    Nice big family house, plenty of room and very good location. Couple of minor issues in my opinion was the state of the sofas which were old and tatty and uncomfortable, had throws over to cover them up, and the front and back patio areas were very untidy and over grown so couldn't sit out. Overall great holiday by all and would book again. Thanks

    This was our third time staying at the property and once again it was a pleasure staying here. Everything you need for a stay in St Ives and the location is perfect for access to the town and the beaches. Will be booking again for next year.

    Love this property, superbly furnished on all 3 floors. Very comfortable and everything you need in a kitchen. Close to the beach and the Harbour. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Would certainly book again

    The property is lovely with four good double bedrooms and all the required facilities. It is in a great location and only a couple of minutes walk into St Ives centre.

    Perfect location for town, beaches and public transport. Cottage well equipped, lounge needs new sofa’s they are rather old, tatty and uncomfortable (applicable if staying out of season). We bought throws for them ( was told soft furnishings had been removed due to covid). Lovely week.

    Lovely, quirky cottage right in the middle of St Ives. Balcony on the top floor was great for chilling and taking in the view. Used the back door most of the time to get into town /beach as quite steep path to the front. No parking so we bought a week parking permit before we came to allow us to park in most council car parks. The railway one was nearest but often full. We used the Trenwith one otherwise which was never full but a good quarter of a hour's walk from the cottage. Comfy beds, good shower, separate toilet a Godsend, well stocked kitchen. Would definitely be happy to book again.

    Just returned from another excellent stay at this property, perfect location and property is an idea size ( 4 adults and 3 children). Host is excellent at communicating and I would definitely recommend.
