Spacious Detroit Lakes Home: Walk to Downtown!

GREAT house, GREAT location. We’ve stayed here twice in the last 6 months. The location is perfect and walkable to everything (at least everything we were interested in). Cozy, quiet and comfortable!

Definitely kid friendly! No Lake view. Loved the house and the decor! Loved the deck.

This was an AWESOME HOME!! from the decor to the comfy beds, well stocked. VERY CLEAN!!. We cannot say enough good things about this home. The location was great--easy access to everything and in walking distance to the downtown. We were up for a ladies get away for Troll Hunting. 5 of us and we all had enough space. Check in and out was easy--there was a very well put together binder with all information. If we are ever back in DL--we will be re-booking this home.

We LVED our stay here!! We were in DL for a wedding. The decor was on point for the “Retro Retreat”. Beds were very comfortable! All the right items were available. Great location!!

We had a wonderful time and we're so thankful they let us check in early and drop our bags off. It was such a great location for our event at the Pavilion. Everybody loved the decor and there was plenty of room. I would recommend it for anyone with a large group. Kids loved the basement especially with all the fun games and decor.

Great place just as advertised!

8 adults stayed here for four nights and it was perfect. Super close to many bars/restaurants, the beach, pickle ball, parks, etc!! Great communication with property owners. Highly recommend! Pac-Man was a fun blast from the past for a house full of Middle Agers!

Perfect house for our family's needs over the weekend. Loved the retro arcade games to pass some time.

Great location and a good size for our group.

Perfect place for the 6 of us for fishing and golfing. The lake is 3 blocks away and there are several eating options. Easy check in procedure. We are booking it again for next year.

The place was clean and easy access to everything! The space was perfect for 8 people. Skye was prompt in answering our questions and gave us great suggestions. Highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful time. Place was perfect for us. It was our 30th year of getting together. All in our 70’s. Five of us so having 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked great. Oven was not clean so just wanted you to know it wasn’t our group! Would definitely recommend and we will return!

Great neighborhood close to pretty much everything that we needed. We were in town for a family wedding. The “retro” vibe was fun and interesting, and the kids had fun playing the arcade games. We had four generations ranging from 85 to 1 year old and all enjoyed our stay. Would have given five stars except that the pillows were not good…very flat and uncomfortable. All in all would definitely recommend, hoping better pillows could be provided for next guests.

Spacious room layout

Six seniors in our party. Beds were comfy. Very quiet neighborhood. Only issues were: 1) cupboard shelves were too high up and no stool provided. 1st shelf had only wine glasses and dinner plates. Water glasses were up on 3rd shelf. Coffee grounds were in cupboard over microwave above stove. And 2) It's a 5 bedroom house and only 4 chairs at dining table, and 3 stools at counter, not enough seating for meals. Also, the narrow and sharply curved stairway to get to 2nd floor was impossible for us to carry suitcase or other stuff up because needed to hold railing on both sides continuously. It was cute but not safe.

The house was perfect for our friends group to enjoy our long weekend. Great location we walked every where. Very nicely decorated. Great communications with Skye! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We had a girls weekend and had the most wonderful time. The vibes and décor were so fun. Everything we needed was there, including table and chairs on the deck to enjoy the nice weather. Walking distance down to the bars on the lake was so convenient and nice. I went for morning runs down by the water also as there are great walking paths to do so. Highly recommend. The host is the best.. quick to respond and a great person to top it off. We cannot wait to go back again next year!
