Stayed Jun 20, 2025Seven night stay and wish it was more!!! Communication and check in great experience. Beach and swimming area perfect for our four grandchildren ages 6 to 3 as well as the six adults. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Appreciated storage building near dock. Guesthouse perfect for additional sleeping space and also well stocked. We spent many hours in porch area relaxing and enjoying the view. Neighbors were friendly. Natural property boards provided privacy and shade. Highly recommend for a true cabin experience with all the perks. Oh and the garden area was fabulous, shows this place loved by owners. Thanks Matt and Jody for a wonderful family vacation!!!

Stayed Jun 28, 2025Our family had a great vacation at this property! Mike and Jodie have thought of everything. The cabins are very well stocked! Communication with them was easy and they were so accommodating! The cabins were very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Aug 29, 2024Wonderful, charming cabin and guest cabin. Well stocked with dishware etc, towels etc., cleaning materials etc. but few condiments. Cabin readily cools with north/south facing. Beach is fantastic. Very safe neighborhood. Matt was very responsive to our questions. We were fortunate to have absolutely fantastic weather. Bravo!

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Family of 5 for a four day stay and it was everything we were looking for. Beach was perfect for swimming and lounging. Good fishing off the dock. Both cabins were very clean and had everything anybody would ever need. Host Matt was very accommodating and communication was great. Would definitely recommend if Detroit Lakes is a destination your planning on.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024This was the perfect place for our family gathering with its beautiful outdoor spaces and spacious cabins we were all able to find our own spaces to relax and recharge We enjoyed many hours talking in the fern garden and in the porch but it was the sandy beach and lake that saw most of the action. It seemed like someone was either sitting in the chaise lounges or floating in the water all the time! Oh, and those modified beach chair towels were a huge it! We all want to come back next year!
