Buffalo Lake Cabin I Private Beach l Detroit Lakes l Pet Friendly

We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot. The kayaks and water toys were well clean and well maintained. And the beds…best beds, pillows and linens we have come across in any rental thus far.

The cabin was very cozy and laid out for guests. Everything you needed and more was available. The communication was great! We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was exceptionally clean and has all the amenities you can ask for! The kids caught a variety of fish right off the dock, and loved having the big loft to themselves at night. Lots of wonderful memories made.

Wonderful property! Excellent responsive host. It was a slice of heaven - private yard and dock, several available kayaks, a paddle board and pedal boat. Everyone had an amazing time! Can’t think of anything that could have been better.

great place, this was our first Vrbo and was a really enjoyable experience. Very nice cabin and private beach. Perfect for families with kids. our dog loved running around and playing in the water.

Cabin and amenities were awesome! Our family loved it, especially the water and sand toys. Bass fishing was also amazing.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! This house exceeded all expectations. It had every amenity we could think of, making our vacation seamless and enjoyable. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which we really appreciated. We especially loved playing in the water and taking advantage of the water toys provided. It added an extra layer of fun to our trip. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway.

The Buffalo Lake Cabin was a perfect place for a fall getaway. The house was warm and cozy and the outside air was crisp and clean. We enjoyed the fall colors and the lake views. Our lab enjoyed playing fetch in the lake and we enjoyed watching his antics. The cabin had everything we needed. Thank you!

Our family had the best time staying at this beautiful cabin! From all the impeccable rustic decor to all the thoughtful amenities, this place really has it all! It was much bigger than I expected and offered us great space for our two tween children and our pup! The waterfront was great, lots of little fish swimming around the dock, even seen a baby snapping turtle. The kids had a blast using the slide, kayaks, paddle boat/board, we played board games and watched family movies. We made memories we will never forget and would definitely come back and stay here again!

This was our second stay at Buffalo Lake Cabin. It is just a stunning and private cabin with a wonderful deck to relax on. The beach with the shallow wading area is perfect for dogs (would be perfect for kiddos too). We love this place and we will be back! Thank you for another wonderful stay!

This is an awesome property. The host thought of everything! I would stay here again for sure. There was plenty to do. Fishing, nice sandy bottom to the lake for swimming. Private beach and fire pit! Very, very happy to have found this gem!

Last minute getaway, turned into a must go again! From the ease of checking in to the gift basket upon arrival. Ramey knows how to set up at Minnesota lake cabin. Our little family of 3 + our lab, had an enjoyable quiet weekend taking in the serene landscape overlooking Buffalo Lake. The paddle boat and kayaks made for endless fun. The stockpile of firewood made our evenings memorable! We will definitely be revisiting this Buffalo Lake Cabin! The Nielsens

Lovely time! The cabin was clean and well-organized. We appreciated the extra supplies and made use of the fishing poles and a few bandaids. :D We loved using the paddleboard and little kids kayak, etc. The lake was cleared around the dock and slide and was perfect for swimming and kids learning to paddle around. Swim shoes are a must- lots of snails, especially as you get a few feet past the slide. No issues with itch from snails though. We were surprised to not have any issues with mosquitoes- thought they'd be thick in the woods at night. The sand areas along the beach and off the back deck were nice and clean too. The kids liked exploring the games inside during rainy parts of the trip. They especially like the big dice. Ramey checked in prior, shortly after arrival, and a time or two during our stay, which was great. Good communication. Hoping to come back next summer!

Had a great week at this cabin with our family of five plus 2 Labrador retrievers. This property is quiet, peaceful, clean and well appointed! We appreciated the private sandy beach, floating dock, kayaks, paddle boat, two grills, fishing gear and plenty of space! Very close to the Richwood stores for supplies, liquor… Easy drive into Detroit Lakes!

Our family of 5 + 2 doggos spent a week here in July. It was the perfect fun at the lake experience. Weather was perfect, lake was beautiful and warm. 3 little girls had a great time swimming and paddle boarding. Highly recommend. Was perfect for our family!!

When I say this VRBO was top notch, they were so nice from a little card, snacks, it being clean, the best location, and just checking in to make sure everything was okay. No issues at all, my family all collectively agreed that we would like to stay here again in the future!

My family loved this cabin. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed using the kayak, paddle boats, paddle board and the fishing pole. We had a fire several nights. Our dog loved playing in the water and we even made a sandcastle. We would love to come back!
