Spacious Coastal Home w/ Close Beach Access & Private Pool in Destin! ☀

House was clean, location is great, pool and back yard were nice.

Loved our stay, close to the beach, very convenient location!

It’s as good as it looks! The beach truly is a two minute walk! The house is spacious and well equipped, comfortably sleeping 8 adults and two kids. The customer service team is outstanding! They answered my phones calls promptly and were extremely helpful both times.The outdoor “closet” is well-stocked with beach umbrellas, beach chairs, float toys, a wagon, and pool toys.Kitchen was wide and large enough to have multiple people prepping food. We loved this house and actually looked at extending our trip but it was already booked for another lucky family :)Notes: Tarpon Beach is flanked by private hotel beaches but we still had plenty of room to spread out. To get to the pool from the house you need to go through the downstairs bedroom or out the front door and through the gate to the backyard. (The outdoor dining set is fabulous and sturdy.)There are no cleaning products in the house so bring spray or wipes for the counter and table between meals if you eat in.

House was big with lots of space for a big family. Big back yard with good size pool. Older house but clean. Public Beach access very close walking close. No beach chair and umbrella rental. Compass was great. Compass was extremely easy to contact.

Single family of 7, 5 kids from 21 to 10yrs old. We’ve stayed in Destin beach houses many times over the years, and this was the best location we’ve had. Direct beach access a 1 minute walk away. No golf cart needed. Multiple times we forgot to bring something to the beach and sent someone back to get it and they’d return in 6-7 minutes. House was clean, pool was a little small but just fine for us. Only weird thing was the only access to the backyard from inside the house was through the downstairs bedroom. Wasn’t a big deal for us as we had kids in that bedroom but might be an issue if adults/couple using that bedroom. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

It was a clean and spacious house. The kitchen was well equipped. Only one bedroom with the double bed was a bit small because the entire room was taken up by the bed.

The house was beautiful and very nice. We had plenty of room for our 8 guests. The location was AMAZING, a really quick walk to the beach and steps from the scenic highway which is great for biking or walking. It was only about a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and there are restaurants nearby which we biked to. Having a heated pool on the cool nights was also wonderful. There was a misunderstanding on getting the heater turned on the first night and Compass resorts was so helpful and even gave us a refund for the time it wasn't heated. Really impressed with Compass resorts and their responsiveness. Would definitely recommend this location and would come back!

Very enjoyable and comfortable

We really enjoyed the location but the house does need a little work. Just the small things because you wouldn’t expect broken lights or a fridge without some of the shelving for the price. Other than the small things, house was clean and the location incredible!

The house was amazing for our large group. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Location to the public beach could not be beat! Loved that beach chairs and a wagon were available for us to use. Not too much to complain about. Communication was excellent!
