I stayed at India's January/February with my family who had moved from overseas. It was perfect for us, more than enough space, but also as she says would be good for a single professional. She calls it a bungalow, I'd call it a small house. Good fridge and stove and well-stocked kitchen, great place to cook. Weather was miserable while we were there, used the central heating and portable heaters and stayed warm. Alarm system gave me peace of mind. I had a couple of emergencies that India and her on-site person Ian really went out of their way to help me out on. They were responsive and professional, very trustworthy. The neighborhood in Fruitvale isn't pretty, but I loved it. Mostly immigrant families/working class (like mine). Most everything we needed was available in the area. Really good memories of our first place in California, even though it rained almost every day. Thanks again to Ian for stopping by and helping us out.
