Unbelievable value! The house was spacious and clean, well-appointed and updated. A block at most from beach access and communication with McKay was tremendous. Very nice man and very understanding. Perfect for kids and dogs with great front and back porches. Will be back!

Our stay was for 3 nights. The bedrooms were very comfortable and everything was clean. Nice big fridge and kitchen with air fryer. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice to be close enough to walk to beach and down town.

It was a quaint place to stay. It was spacious enough and comfortable. It was convenient enough of a location, especially for the offseason.

Great spot for our weekend get away with our kiddos and furbaby!! Within walking distance to restaurants and the boardwalk, comfy beds and plenty of room to hang out but also to spread out. We loved the covrted porch and the living room with plenty of seating. Would highly recommend this place to others!

The house is very centrally located and within walking distance to the boardwalk and some nice restaurants. There is a wagon for guests use which made the short walk to the beach very easy to manage with all the beach gear. The host was extremely responsive when we needed to contact him.

We were delighted by the bungalow! It was tastefully decorated, the kitchen was intelligently supplied with all we needed, the front porch was welcoming with great seating. Our host was prompt and helpful with our inquiries and the beach was easily accessible. We look forward to future visits!

Excellent stay. Beautiful, spacious house with great sitting areas in the front and back yards to enjoy views of the inter coastal. Plenty of amenities, extra towels, and full sized appliances to ensure a comfortable stay. The host was more than accommodating and was flexible to provide the ultimate comfortable experience. Would highly recommend to any needing a relaxing getaway.

Lives up to the description: the beach is right around the corner from this spacious, charming house. Appreciated the little touches: stocked cabinet of games and everything you need in the kitchen, including filtered water. We walked to Brunches and there are other places nearby to dine, fish, etc. We hope to go back again!

We loved our stay at the Beach Bungalow. It was very close to the beach and the house came with a lot of household items. We didn’t really need anything and felt at home away from home. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. Communication throughout our stay was good too. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone!!

We loved our stay at the Bungalo!! The decor was super cute, it was clean, and perfect for a group. Nice large funtional kitchen with everything we needed. Our favorite part was the covered front porch where you could just sit and watch the world go by! Just 2 blocks from the beach entrance, it was very easy to go for a quick swin. We would definitely stay here again!!

Stayed with family (8 of us) comfortably for our daughter's graduation. Host was so kind and allowed us to drop our bags and get ready at location before her banquet. First off, the location was the best, 2 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of parking and a small yard for the dogs to go potty. The inside was spacious and offered 3 beds and two baths. Fans in every room was a plus. I would recommend for sure.

The property was just as listed. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The location was very close and a short walk to the beach and boardwalk with shopping, an arcade, restaurants, and ice cream shops! The kitchen was fully equipped which made the stay even better. I highly recommend this home for you next stay at Carolina Beach.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our spring break, which didn't coincide with NC's spring break schedule. We practically had the beach to ourselves! The house was perfect for our 2 adults, 2 teens, and 1 dog. The house had everything we needed for our stay--everyone was comfortable. The host was very responsive and clear with instructions. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with our family which consisted of my husband and myself, and a 15, 13, 7, 2, and 1 yo, and our teenagers brought a couple of friends. There was ample room, the amenities were great and it was a 2 min walk from the beach access point. Also short walk to the boardwalk and all the local eateries. Great communication with the host. We have a great time. Recommend!

Great location with wonderful decks and lots of space to relax. View of the canal and just steps from the beach, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location to bring your dog and enjoy a pet friendly getaway in Carolina Beach. McKay gave us a recommendation for a great Irish Pub and Restaurant with a pet friendly patio and delicious food. The deck staircase leads to a fenced in backyard where our dog could romp and do his duty. Very comfy accommodations with a beach theme. Enjoyed our stay!

The host communicated with us in a timely manner and answered our questions as needed. Though it felt like his responses lacked some transparency. Our gripe with the property was that it was not as pictured. Many additional items had been added to the place, which was a big deal for us since we had little children with us. Many of the additional items were hazards for our children. There were also distasteful photos on the wall that were not in the original photos. There were window ac units rather than central air - though we were told it worked, I can’t say we ever felt it. The last concern we had was with the cleanliness of the place. The air ducts were filthy and had a filter that looked like it had never been changed. The location of the place is great if you are wanting to walk to the boardwalk and the owner did work with us when we requested to end our stay early. We expected a very different stay, especially after seeing so many positive reviews prior to our stay.

This property is adorable, with the perfect vibe. There is a lot of room.I came with my husband. I would book again and bring my teens. I would avoid bringing small children. There are a lot of cute items that are breakable.

Charming Beachy Bungalow in a great location close to beach, eateries and shops to get your new favorite beach attire. Place has a great outdoor deck to relax with a coffee in the morning and drinks at night! And we loved that it was pet friendly. Lots of interior seating options and sleeping spaces (however mattresses are on the firmer side).Tips for Others: A few dishwasher pods were provided, but make sure to bring your own laundry pods, any spices you may want for cooking, a good surface cleaners, ziplock, tinfoil, etc. The basics. There is oyster shuckers so don’t buy some. If you love seafood, Blackburn Brothers had freshly caught options and the people were amazing. Carolina Beach was an awesome place to visit! We will be coming back!

The stay at McKay's 3Beaches was very comfortable and so convenient to the local attractions. There were 3 of us but the cottage accommodated several more (it was a pleasure not to have to sleep in a bunk bed). All of the amenities were greatly appreciated and we would definitely consider staying again.

Perfect place for my college age+ kids and husband and I to stay for a family wedding. We loved the games and puzzles and easy access to the beach and walking distance to bars and restaurants

Wonderful place to stay if relaxing is on the agenda. We (three 50+ adults) greatly enjoyed the spacious front porch with doggie gate as we hung out with our rescue beagle reading and doing crossword puzzles. The kitchen is fully stocked and had so many extras! Host had lots of beach accessories that we used to enjoy two days at the beach. The house is quite large and there was plenty of room for the three of us. Definitely recommend this space!

The cabin was wonderful. More than enough room for the five of us. We loved the covered front porch. It was perfect for relaxing and reading, or having a casual supper in the evening. Lots of room in the living room and dining room. The location was perfect, close to entertainment, restaurants, and the beach, but on a very quiet street. We will definitely be back.

if I could 10 stars I would. There is nothing not to love about this property. The moment you walk in you just feel like you’re on vacation and it’s absolutely beautiful with every single little thing you could possibly need. Having access to the beach so close and the board walk, McDonald’s and the convenience store only 3 minutes away was a fantastic thing. It has a great area in the back for your dog. Next time I’d love to have my dog with me. It has fun things like disc golf and things you would need for the beach, such as .When I go back to Carolina Beach this will be the only place that I stay i. It feels like being in my own home
