Spacious Beach Front Home on Hood Canal w/ Kayaks!

We had a wonderful time on Spring Break with our family. The weather was better than expected and we utilized the deck every day. Beautiful views, a well-appointed home, comfortable furnishings and plenty of space for everyone. We'll be back!

From the moment we walked in, the sweeping view of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains took our breath away. This home is massive, beautifully appointed, and spotless. There’s plenty of room to spread out, and it’s easy for everyone to find their own quiet corner in this beachfront retreat.The kitchen is extremely well stocked—so well stocked that it’s worth taking a moment to locate everything before you start cooking. Our family spent hours in the garage Game Room, and the deck quickly became our favorite gathering spot. The sunsets were spectacular, and the view alone feels like a two‑million‑dollar feature. We also appreciated the provided firewood and the perfect firepit setup for ending each evening outdoors.One note for travelers: seniors and small children may find parts of the property challenging. There are several drop‑offs on the deck and a 5‑ft bulkhead without barriers, plus steep handrails leading to the beach. This isn’t an issue for able‑bodied guests, but groups with toddlers or older adults should be aware before booking.The home’s proximity to Belfair and a nearby state park was a great bonus. Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay.

Lovely home!

Lovely, well furnished home with many places to gather. We loved the large deck and firepit, and made use of the paddle boards and kayaks. We saw lots of seals and the sunsets were gorgeous. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our family enjoyed this spacious and clean home. The view is beautiful with plenty of windows and indoor/outdoor seating to enjoy it from. We made good use of the kayaks, SUPs w/life jackets, ping pong, air hockey, and board games. The toddler had endless exploration on the rocky/oyster shell shore (holding a hand on the sharp rocks). We all enjoyed the dramatic change of tidal waters and various sea creatures. Visited a few spots nearby, within 20 minutes (Twanoh state park, Union City Market, Alderbrook), but found we enjoyed our accommodations the most. The toys and kid amenities were much appreciated. It's on septic, but with a bit of attention per the house rules, had no issues for 6 adults and a kiddo. Heather (our host) was responsive before and during our stay. Would stay here again.
