Stayed Aug 28, 2025Had a family gathering for the Labor Day weekend. Needed a place that was close to our home to host additional family members. Found the Deadrise, and it was amazing. The place is the cutest little home that packs SO much into a small space. There is plenty of room for you and yours to stretch out in comfort. The home is gorgeously decorated and has everything you’ll need for your stay. There is an onsite laundry room and there are two full bathrooms. There is a large bedroom on the main level of the house and “several” bedrooms on the upper level. The appliances are stainless steel and very well maintained. The is a very large backyard with a gazebo and fire pit with chairs. Truly a lovely home in the heart of Deltaville, VA. If you need to host family members for your next gathering, please consider renting the Deadrise, you will not regret it. Enjoy!

Stayed Aug 21, 2025We had a great stay at the Deadrise Inn. Plenty of room and nicely appointed. The road is a little busier than I expected, especially with kids, but we had everything we needed and the supermarket was a short drive away. Nice to have a restaurant next door and across the street as well. Thanks, Rachel, for your hospitality!

Stayed Jan 17, 2025We had a great time at the Deadrise and it is a beautiful property. The pictures don’t do justice to how pretty and well restored the property is. Host thought of everything with the amenities from coffee to the vanity kits. Our friends had plenty of space, and check in was the easiest process. Would highly recommend and will have other family and friends stay there this summer!
