Spacious 5-bedroom house with WiFi and AC in superb Fort Lauderdale

Loved my stay! Just wish we had more pool towels

The layout was awesome. The rooms spacious. The only issue we had was the microwave wasn't heating up properly and the replacement microwave got stuck close as well as the refrigerator didn't cool properly.

My family rented this home for a Fri-Mon stay to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. It was perfect for our needs. The home is very spacious and has a great layout. Kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom and master bath all access the screened-in pool area. The space around the pool was awesome. For my father's celebration, we rented tables and chairs and had a wonderful dinner catered for our extended family. We all sat out around the pool in the beautiful spring weather without being bothered by bugs. The host had some yard games (beanbag toss, connect 4, etc) set out around the pool, and the kids enjoyed swimming, although the pool was not heated. The host, Zohar, was very communicative and polite. The home is located in a family neighborhood with nearby parks and sidewalks thoughout. The only reason I did not give this home a perfect score is that it is older and in need of renovation. We were not bothered by little things like marks on the walls, the window that wouldn't close all the way, or the sparce furnishings. In fact having very few furnishings around the pool appealled to us because it was less to move to put out our rentals. Overall, our experience at this home was fantastic. It was a perfect event home, and if the owners invested all the money into renovating it, they would likely be charging a lot more, so I was happy to overlook the minor cosmetic flaws. I would happily book this home again.

To summarize why this was the worst experience, I will list only the major issues:- Body hairs from previous guests stuck on the shower walls in two different bathrooms.- Pool was dirty from grass clippings- Pool area had no pool chairs as shown in the pics. Nowhere to sit other than the floor.- Hot tub did not work- Black / moldy grout in one of the bathrooms- Pool door to the back yard was broken and completely off its hinges- Bleach and cigarette smells throughout- Bathroom showers in main bedrooms were stepdowns and sunken into the floor.- Refrigerator did not have a water line so no ice and no filtered water.
