We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately it did not match the listing or photos.Upon arrival, the home did not appear clean—surfaces and floors needed attention. We also encountered multiple pests during our stay, including a spider, roach, ants, and fruit flies. The kitchen was not as advertised. Photos showed a well-stocked space with appliances, spices, and coffee, but many of those items were missing. Basic necessities like adequate silverware and dish towels were also lacking. There were several maintenance and safety concerns. Some lights remained dimly lit even when turned off through other controls, raising concern about possible electrical issues and a potential fire hazard. There were also door frames missing doors, with exposed hinges and screws. Several mattresses had significant sagging, making them uncomfortable. The TV guide was only in Spanish and could not be changed, which made it difficult to use, though the large TV itself was appreciated. We chose to stay because relocating our group was not feasible at that point, but that should not be taken as satisfaction.Overall, the condition of the home did not reflect the listing and negatively impacted our stay.

Terrible! I never received access information to the home. I messaged the host a few hours before check in asking how we get in to the home. No reply for 2 hours, so I messaged again. Still no reply. We arrive 1.5 hours after the allowed check in time. Still no access code to the home. Upon arrival, a patio door on the basement floor is open with all of the lights on. We enter and an alarm is going off. There are open drinks and food on the floor. We walk around to the front door which is locked. At this point I call the host to ask how we get into the home. He becomes defensive and says he emailed me. I told him I never received an email. He just keeps telling me to check my inbox which again there is no response. At the same time, my husband finds the side door with the lock box to be unlocked. The host at this point gave me the lock box code. The home is dirty with all of the windows unlocked and some windows open. We search the home to ensure there is no one here as we don't feel safe with the lack of security. We can't even close the patio door in the basement as it does not latch. There is ongoing work in the basement with exposed live wires and debris everywhere. In the rest of the home, multiple things are broken. A bed frame, toilet paper holders falling off walls or completely missing, kitchen faucet handle missing, cabinet doors broken, holes in ceilings and walls, cockroaches and ants, etc. The number of beds advertised is also incorrect. Do not stay here!!

We stayed at this property for two days with 4 adults, a 2-year-old, a 1-year-old, and two elderly dogs. What we walked into at 4 PM check-in was not a vacation rental — it was an active construction site.Construction workers were still clearing debris from the property until 9 PM the night we arrived. There was dust, debris, and an overall sense that the house was nowhere near ready to host guests. This alone would have been unacceptable, but it only got worse from there. There were no keys in the lockbox, which meant we had no way to lock the house whenever we left. That is a serious security issue.Inside the house, sanitation and safety were shocking:•We found a razor blade on the floor where our toddlers were playing.•The floors were so filthy that our feet were black from walking around.•The sheets smelled like body odor and had sand in them.•There was leftover food in a kitchen drawer.•The dishwasher contained old food.•The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain after washing my face.•The kitchen drawers were broken and wouldn’t open.•A sink handle was missing.•The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall.•The chairs were wobbly.•The bunk bed frame was snapped.•For a “newly renovated” property, every wall was covered in scuffs and marks. This property is being marketed as newly renovated, but it appears poorly maintained, improperly cleaned, and completely unprepared for guests — especially families with young children.
