Welcome to Kahlua Sands!! Come relax and watch the wild horses in this cozy, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located in the remote and peaceful 4x4 Carova Beach. There are no paved roads, only sandy trails to explore, sun to soak up, and sand to sink your toes in. One of the best things about this remote location is that you can park directly on the beach, so no need for lugging of heavy beach equipment! There are two beach parking passes included for your stay. ($250 fee if they are lost)

If you are looking to get away from all the commercialization of most beach towns, this is the place for you. I can’t say enough about the property and location. The hosts were wonderful, communication was excellent, timely and accurate. We will certainly be back. 5 stars all around.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Great house in Carova. This was our second trip to the 4x4 area and we absolutely love it. This home is nestled among mature pines and oaks giving some great shade but only a 1-2 minute drive of the beach and all the sun you could ask for. Check in/out was seamless and the home was exactly as advertised. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils/pots and pans which I really appreciated.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions asked. Gave suggestions for dinner for my daughter’s 16th birthday. Let us know where a fishing license could be obtained and a fishing report. The house had plenty of room and everything we needed to cook. The house was stocked with books, games, dvds.
