Southbay by the Gulf 12 Overlooking Pool! ~ Short Walk to Beach!

I expected more from the photos, but had the men in our group ducking through doorways because it's small. It's also very outdated and the I didn't ever get a response when messaging the day of checkin with a question.

House is not kept up with, floors were dirty, showers were dirty, found Arby’s trash under the bed, dirty pillows stuck in between bed and wall, picture frames behind bed head bed with broken glass, 2nd floor deck rails missing, holes in screen door… Beds were very uncomfortable, overall location not terrible, pool is nice…

The location was great! Short and nice walk to beach(which was absolutely beautiful) the place was clean until you walked barefoot and your feet turned black(requested a mop and received it quickly) (apparently the cleaners do NOT mop) also the beds were extremely hard and very uncomfortable. Thankfully the showers were clean!

Perfect stay. Hope to stay here again.

Close to the beach, nice pool

The property was clean and comfortable. The pool was beautifully maintained and the noise was at a minimum (a concern for us as our balcony overlooked the pool). The townhouse area was clean and well landscaped and the coded gates allowed guest only access, which was appreciated. The location was perfectly situated near the beach and several of our favorite restaurants. We could even walk to several of them with little effort (Pancakery, etc.). An excellent stay and we plan to book here again.

Found 3 cockroaches inside condo with one being on the master room bed. There is mildew around air vent in living room and dining room wall. The walls were dirty. The bathrooms need updated, both showers were dirty! I had to walk around with socks. Sleep on top of my own blankets which I left there. Had to wear my crocks in the shower. There were NO bath linen glad I take my own towels. There was dust and dirt along bottom of walls behind nightstand it was very disgusting and disappointing. It was our first time in Destin which the beach is beautiful and the pool was very clean at the condo by the way. When we walked inside the condo the first time it smelled so bad we had to by candles and spray air fresheners. Would not recommend. There were no reviews so we took our chances. So much money spent to rent with better expectations..
