The house is great - everything we needed for a relaxing girls getaway.

Great house for a family or large gathering. Very clean and well stocked, in a nice quiet neighborhood. Check in was easy enough, but we are accustomed to lock box codes vs keys. We will be 80 soon and we’re concerned about locking ourselves out, LOL.

It was a very nice place, the view was nice what we could can see of it. Pulic access a little hard to get to without going into someone yard . When you are handicap. The house as nice and beds comfortable.

We were very happy with the house! Our family of seven had space to move and settled in nicely. Each room was perfect for our family. The kids spent a lot of time on the back patio. We walked to public access multiple times to fish and enjoy the beautiful weather. My sister commented that she was happy with how clean and new the home appeared. The beds were comfortable! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We loved the layout of the open concept living/dining room/kitchen. We played games, watched Iowa football, and grilled. There were a few bugs that flew inside but that was no issue for us! If we could have stayed longer we would have. One comment would be that the door that you first enter the home, it seems older and has seen better days. Otherwise, we hope to visit again and again, as this is a new favorite for our family

Very nice place to stay and the owner was very helpful in taking care of us. He helped us find a place to park my son's boat and trailer overnight every night. Would highly recommend this place.

We booked this house for our family of six. It was for our oldest daughter’s wedding in Clear Lake. The home was perfect for us. I wish we could have spent more time enjoying the house and area….busy wedding prep and day. Our heat did not work the first night (completely unpredictable and not the owners fault). John was very responsive. He got a tech out there early the next morning and got it fixed. The rest of our stay was cozy and warm. Thank you. We would stay here again.

As always, we had a great time. This was our 5th year of making memories. We love the location. This is a great place to stay.

We arrived a little before 6 PM & found no key in the lock box. John quickly resolved this mixup with his cleaner! We were able to store our belongings & head to dinner, while the cleaning was completed. Just a handful of things were left undone but nothing major. While the house is on a main road, it was quiet at night & the view of the lake was so relaxing. We had an enjoyable time & would rent this again!

This was our third stay at this property in Clear Lake. The accommodations have improved every year. Patio: lake view and lots of seating (newer furnishings) plus umbrellas, corn hole, fire pit, and gas grill. Public water access is just down the hill. Bedrooms: Beds, pillows and bedding are in good shape. Clean. Bathrooms: Clean, good water pressure good, with plenty of hot water for six people. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Kitchen: Spacious, fully functional. Everything we needed to cook multiple meals. Surprisingly, the kitchen was stocked up on detergent, cleaners, paper towels, trash bags, cleaners, etc. Common area: clean, updated furnishings and plenty of seating for everyone. Overall, five enthusiastic stars. We'll definitely stay here again!
