Stayed Feb 3, 2026Wow! I have stayed in many VRBO houses. Schoolhouse and your host Myron excel at a brand new lovingly restored 1872 schoolhouse including the welcoming school bell. Plans and photographs of the extensive renovation are in the stunning cook’s kitchen. Three bathrooms and two washer/dryer combos welcome a large crew enjoying the nearby lake. Thank you Myron for this truly special stay complete with thoughtful night lights.

Stayed May 16, 2025The Schoolhouse is a beautifully restored building with an interesting history. It’s spacious and was very comfortable for our party of 4 adults. It could easily accommodate a larger group. Highly recommended!

Stayed Apr 11, 2025This was a great location for us and we would try to stay here again. The place is super clean, nice beds, great bathrooms. Super simple check in and no issues with check out. We enjoyed our time there. Do note that a huge part of the upstairs is almost like a big landing with lots of beds, so without a door to the lower level its easy to hear most everything downstairs. The main bedroom, however, would work for anyone needing absolute quiet. This wasn't a negative for our group. Would absolutely recommend and return in the future.
