Nice, but needs work. The good- The cabin has a lot of room. Would be a great place for a ski trip. It has a '70's look inside, which I kind of like. Chairs and beds are very comfortable. Has great TV service. The not so good.- The lawn needs care. On the outside it looks like an abandoned cabin. Grass is knee high. Tree in the yard is dead. Carpet on the front steps is falling apart.Inside, the curtains are old, worn thin, and most do not work at all. Microwave was dead. (that was a big deal) And a few other little things that need a little work. Overall, it is nice, but would be great if they would just do a couple days work fixing up a few things.

The house and neighborhood were good. The homes hot water system is on a timer and often did not provide hot water at normal times. The property also advertised a coffee pot which wasn't accurate. There is a keurig, but there were no pods provided. Local grocery stores did not have adequate supplies. We also had to purchase our own sponge to clean dishes. Come prepared.

It could be a real nice cabin, but it needs some work. First off, the lawn needs work. The cabin looks abandoned from the outside. We drove right by it because we could not believe this was the same place. Other issues. The curtains are 50 years old, and most of them do not work. They are thin, worn and look real bad.The microwave was dead. Did not work at all. That was a big deal as all of the food we brought with us was for a microwave. The faucet in the kitchen does not shut off right. It just spins around and around. The flooring in the kitchen has a couple of spots that are coming up and need to be fixed. So like I said, this could be a real nice place, it just needs a few hours of work to make it like it could be.

My hubby and I, along with three grandkids, had a great time staying at this cabin while visiting South Fork. Recommend it 100%. Future renters - Be sure read how the hot water works in the welcome book. It's easy if you read the provided info.Owners - We recommend investing in a small A/C window unit. It wasn't horrible but did get quite warm in the afternoon hours on sunny days. Thanks for a great stay. We will stay here again!

Very comfortable cabin for a short ski vacation. Easy access to Wolf Creek. We enjoyed the deer grazing in the front yard!

We had a great visit to South Fork again. Stayed here in 2021 and rode the Railbikes for the first time and wanted to do that again for the longer ride. Great fun. The cabin was convenient to our activities. The cabin was clean and comfortable. This was our second stay in the cabin.

Cute little cottage, clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us. Felt like a throwback to the 60’s and 70’s with decor. On the upside, plenty of kitchen supplies, but on downside, felt a little like we were staying in somebody else’s house given most drawers etc. stuffed full of typical household items. Biggest issue was a bed that squeaked like crazy any time you move- hopefully owner will remedy that soon. Mattress and sheets comfortable. Plenty to do in area. Go to Creede - just lovely.

Cute cabin in a safe neighborhood. Not far from town, but felt remote. Beautiful views from the porch and patio. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Best stocked kitchen of any VRBOs we have stayed in. Would definitely stay here again. I did email the host 3 times prior to arrival and got no response, until we were due to arrive. No emergency responder discount as stated in listing. No other issues and stay was very enjoyable.
