South Austin Modern Home.Great for Long Term Stays

The property looks exactly like the photos. The hosts were easy to get in touch with and accommodating when we had to add an extra night. Nice neighborhood, and the fenced in yard was great for our dog. The gates do not have locks on them, the back one is heavy enough that we didn’t have to worry, and the front gate we just wedged a rock under so he couldn’t get out.

The house was clean with a modern ecstatic. The backyard has a train track which caused restless sleep. The microwave was broken and the gates to the home do not lock. One mirror in the house was inconvenient for two women to get ready. The location of the property was good for our trio because it was really near my best friend’s home and our activities planned in the city. It was nice that the home had extra toiletries which was nice and came in handy. The shower was stocked with hair shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was nice.

The house was clean, welcoming, and in a great location to host family for a few days.

Chris was a wonderful host and very accommodating. He responded to any questions we had extremely quickly. This house is right next to some train tracks and there’s quite a bit of traffic with shipping. The loud noises were not too bad from the trains, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be the best spot.

We were in town for a weekend event. Property was just what we needed, very pet friendly and property owner was very responsive. Great experience!!

We recently stayed at Cherry Meadow for my son's wedding at a nearby vineyard. The location was convenient to all the events and we never needed to drive on the highway. We were able to get downtown quickly and to enjoy many of the sites in Austin from this location. The house was very clean and everything was provided. There was good communication with the host and there is obvious pride in the property. One thing to note was the presence of a train very close by, but it did not hinder our visit as we were out of the house for events. I would stay here again if I am ever in need of housing while returning for a visit. It was my first time renting via VRBO and it was a very positive experience. Having this house as our home base took a lot of the stress of traveling by air for a special event. It was a good place to relax and spend some quality time with family members. Thank you for all the effort you put into making this house a comfortable and clean spot.
