We have stayed her several times and we enjoy it every time. Very spacious well stocked kitchen. The views are amazing. I love the swing on the back porch and my grandkids love the little beach on the sound to play in. It a nice quiet neighborhood. They have have equipment downstairs that renters can use which is very nice (kayaks, boogie boards, Nets). We had a problem with hot tub making noise and not working properly and I texted that morning and they were out to fix it that afternoon. Very nice! We will definitely be back.

This house was such an amazing get away. Would definitely stay here again. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and enjoy the birds and the kite surfers. The sunsets were fantastic. We took the kayaks out almost every day except when it was too windy and a highlight was absolutely the rays in the bay. I saw close to 15 throughout the week and they were so much fun to kayak around. We drove onto the beach and went to Ocracoke for the day. Kids went parasailing in Hatteras. The location was perfect to be able to just relax at the house - with 2 teenagers and a preteen it was a great getaway before our oldest leaves for college. There was space to spread out and there was space to be together and to be together and separate. :) it was a very comfortable house with all of the things you could think to need. Thanks for sharing your house! It was a lovely exhale.

I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in this area and this house is near the top with what it has to offer. The views of the sound and the sunsets are incredible. It is probably the most well stocked home I have stayed in. It has a drip coffee pot as well as a Keurig. It has a ninja blender The deck furniture is outstanding. There is a swing overlooking the sound pretty much everything in the house has recently been updated. The owner has kayaks, boogie boards, beach, chairs, etc. for you to use. This house is about a half mile from ramp 49. The bedroom upstairs is great for a family with one child as there is a king and a twin.. Super large bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the sound. I Would definitely rent this house again. Would definitely rent this house again

We LOVED our stay at the cardinal point home. The home is well updated, extremely clean, and nicely laid out with plenty of seating throughout. One minor frustration that could have been easily alleviated with better details on your website or checkin packet is the very limited toiletries and kitchen supplies provided. A single small 2 oz shampoo is provided with small bar of soap in bathrooms, limited toilet paper provided, a single roll of paper towels, two garbage bags, two dishwasher pods and no kitchen condiments/salt/pepper/oil are available. This was totally inadequate for a 7 day stay. There is a grocery store nearby where we were able to go grab more supplies…. But it would have been nice to know prior to our checkin so we could pack or purchase them on our way in. Also linens/towels are provided but very limited. 6 total small body towels provided for 6 adults, a single kitchen towel, and no beach towels. Being directly on the water we had incorrectly assumed beach towels would be provided and had to purchase from a local gift shop. Again not a big deal but wish we knew ahead of time to try and squeeze some in our suitcases. Ok enough about the small shortcomings… the house is amazing. Upstairs master bedroom is beautiful. Loved the little desk for the few days I had to work and the upper patio was gorgeous for morning coffee. Comfortable beds throughout. The provided 2 kayaks and double canoe was perfect to explore the marsh and sound side. The sunsets were incredible every single night!!! Plenty of seating inside for meals, inside to relax, and outside on the porch! The hot tub was nice and hot- 104 we actually turned it down a bit but the jets didn’t seem to work (or didn’t work well) but we enjoyed it in the evenings under the stars. My husband kite boarded right from the backyard and it was perfect- grassy area to launch and land, plenty of hoses to wash of gear, etc. The private beach it be back is great for little kids- nice and sandy, shallow calm water, picnic table and umbrella. Overall exceeded our expectations- we will be back!!
