The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable & well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is easily accessible. The views are magnificent. The decks are roomy & lovely. It all made for a perfect family vacation!

We especially loved all the comfy outdoor spaces, giving everyone room to spread out, enjoy the amazing views, take in the sun, relax in the shade, and relish our time together. We also had fun the downstairs game rooom, where our grandson beat everyone at air hockey! The house was very clean & well-stocked with everything we needed. The access was easy & it was just minutes to Waynesville, restaurants, the BRP, hiking, and all our favorite things to do. This was our second stay at Bird Song Lodge & we look forward to returning soon!

Not being able to use the garage was an issue and we also found that the lighting in the bedrooms was not adequate for us.

Song Bird Lodge was wonderful! Very cozy, beautiful views, great outdoor deck areas, and fun for the kids! We loved it and hope to return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd Thanksgiving we have stayed for a week at this cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful and well decorated. Last year it was pretty clean but this year we definitely had issues of overall cleanliness- there was mold in all the showers, frequent foul odor smells, and we dealt with numerous pests (spiders, wasps, roach/beetles, ladybugs galore). There were cobwebs all around the rooms. The cleaning and pest control really need to be stepped back up- we didnt encounter any of this last year. However, the home is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed- the fireplace is fantastic and the neighbor with the playground was perfect for our family! We would definitely consider staying again if the above issues were resolved

Just let me say, picture does not do any justice, this is a beautiful place and I really highly recommend it to everyone. My family and will definitely come back again.. Thank you!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have always enjoyed this cabin. Now, it is full of cheesy, dusty decorations and taxidermied animals. It wreaked of mothballs when we arrived. There was a rotting jackelope head in the garage that someone had placed in a bucket of mothballs. The Christmas decorations were still up. The deck and furniture were covered in pollen. There was a large grease spill in the oven. The grill knobs caught on fire when we used the grill! There are two windows that will not close. The bath mats were dirty. Overall, it just felt like no one cared this time.
