Solimar - Oceanfront! 3 Bedroom with Sun Deck!

We enjoyed our time here. The kids loved being able to walk onto the beach.

This was our first vrbo rental and it couldn’t have been any better. The house felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We would stay here again in the fall if it wasn’t booked already. The deck without railing is the best! You can sit in a chair and see sand and water. Neighbors nice. Great local seafood, live music, wonderful beach community.

Comfortable stay for family of 5. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. No issues with wi-if or anything else. Less than 10 minute drive to restaurants and stores for necessities. Enjoyed the view from the living room and decks. Easy check in/check out. Will definitely be coming back!

I am writing a comprehensive review of this property. When we arrived, there was driveway parking, which was so nice. We easily entered the unit with a keyless access code. Upon entering, the unit was extremely cold (54 degrees) and took a while to warm up. The washer/dryer unit was to our left and is quite small. Because you have to provide your own linens, we ended up washing towels all the time. It was quite inconvenient, so just be cognizant of that. The dining room was to our right and was as pictured. The chairs, however, are quite stained and dirty. The kitchen was as pictured, except it truly surpassed our expectations on kitchenware. From pots and pans to dishes and cutlery to pizza cutters, etc. We also used Instacart to get groceries delivered. The downside of the kitchen was there was a roach problem. There were baits set-out and we actually saw some dead and alive ones through the week. The living room is quite different than pictured. The furniture has been upgraded. While this is nice, it is bright white. Anyone with a family could be quite intimidated because we were deathly afraid we would stain it. We ended up putting an extra set of sheets on it to avoid this problem. The floor is tiled on this lower level. The only problem with the floor is a couple tiles are raised and could be a trip hazard for some people. There is no bathroom on the lower level, which we found to be inconvenient. The upstairs looks as described. The views from the master bedroom are quite breathtaking. When it comes to outside, the deck is one of the greatest features. The deck furniture is not as pictured. We were expecting large beach lounge chairs and those were no longer there. Another large issue we had with the place was the Wifi code that management provided was incorrect. This was a working vacation and my teenager had online classes, so Wifi was extremely important to us. When I called the realty company for the code, they did not have it, and would not send maintenance for two days. We tried unplugging the router, trying the code in upper or lower case and nothing worked. I inquired to management to see if they could call the owner to get the code and they refused. They stated Wifi is not guaranteed, despite being listed as an amenity. While I understand if there was a storm, that Wifi could be impacted, but this was simply a passcode issue. This place has potential but needs updated pics, pest control, and reliable Wifi.

We loved Solimar! Since we were trying to not eat out too much, the well-equipped kitchen was great! Great location!
