Sol Patch at Jeremi #1 - a seaside guest house over-looking the Caribbean.

My husband and I had a great 10 day stay at Sol Patch. Joel and Lisa were fantastic hosts, provided fantastic recommendations and answered all of our questions. We’ve put this on our list of places to visit again!

Excellent property. Relaxed and clean and stunning views

We loved staying here. It was quiet and away from the hussle of the city. The home is amazing as are the hosts. Amazing view from the chairs on the cliff edge or the pool or the deck. We came to relax and enjoy the land and culture of Curacao and all and more than our expectations were met. Grateful!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon to Curacao. All of our communication with Lisa leading up our trip was great and a wonderful welcome packet helped us to decide what we wanted to do! Upon arrival to the island, We met with Joel who led us to the house! He showed us around and made sure we were all set for our trip. He also helped us throughout the week with great suggestions of things to do on the island to make our trip memorable! The house was perfect! The view alone is all we needed, but the addition of the pool, the deck and everything else made the trip wonderful! The house had everything we needed (towels, a kitchen with the necessary items, and soap for the bathroom). If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet, getaway near some of the best beaches on the island, this is the house for you! We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon!

Lovely place with a lovely view. Small apartment, but has everything you need and the hosts provided lots of great info about the area and we followed a lot of their recommendations about what to see and where to eat. A great place for a laid-back, beach holiday.

This was a perfect getaway, location is breathtaking and serene. Unit was clean and perfect for a trip for 2. Had all the needed amenities to chill, relax and enjoy some downtime. Joel and Lisa were wonderful to deal with! And oh, that sunset directly in front of the rental? Pure Bliss!

The area was pretty rural. Plants and small mountains all around. Plenty of birds and other small wildlife to view. Porpoises and fish swim by in the ocean view from the front porch. Short drive to Shete Boka National Park with interesting views of the ocean. A mile from there is the Christoffel National Park which has interesting sites on both the ocean side and the inland side. Includes a hike to the highest point on the island. Lots to do and see.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sol Patch. The apartment is lovely with a well-equipped kitchen & comfortable bed. It was spotless and the view from the deck and pool were beautiful. Joel and Lisa are excellent hosts and provided us with lots of tips for things to do and places to eat. They have an excellent reference book on hand with directions to different beaches, restaurants, hiking trails and snorkeling / diving spots. Great place to stay!

Loved the location, peace and quiet from this properly. The view from the pluge pool was incredible and it was close to some nice restaurants and great beaches. Will try to stay there again.

Just an amazing property. My wife and I spent 2 weeks enjoying beaches, hiking, sunsets and relaxing. Everything from check in to check out was stress free. We had the pleasure of working with the property manager who was friendly, immediately available and super helpful. We have stayed at numerous villas in the Caribbean and I put this one as one of my favorite. Unbelievable sunsets every day unobstructed from the patio or the pool. Location is near numerous beaches, great restaurants and wilderness, hiking/exploring. The host put together a book, and I mean a book of things to do places to go restaurants, etc. complete with hand drawn maps. We used it every day .Truly shows they really want their guest to enjoy the island. 100% recommend.

Curacao is beautiful & no one would complain about a stay at one of the resorts, but if you'd prefer a more private, out of the way setting for 2, this is it. Very recently built with a back deck that overlooks the ocean and a 5-10 minute drive from several great beaches and restaurants. A/C unit & fan cool the space off in just a few minutes. Plunge pool is a major perk! Hosts are awesome people & their guy Hynrich was wonderfully helpful. Come check it out!

Loved this place. It's the last house of the development, which means essentially you have complete privacy (except for the cute iguana who was a daily visitor). It's beautiful. Great beaches were five minutes away, and the snorkeling was excellent. We spent our five days there blissfully relaxing. Practical stuff: All communication was prompt, clear, and smooth. Hynrich, the property manager, was cheerful and helpful. Do stock up on groceries at one of the supermarkets on your way to Sol Patch, local mini market options are limited. We found the local restaurants range from decent to quite good, we ere never disappointed. Friday nights at Shelter Rock for coconut-cooked food and karaoke (Dutch and English!) should not to be missed (requires reservations). Overall I can't emphasize enough how much we loved Sol Patch and Curacao. We luxuriated in the solitude and warm sun, snorkeled daily, fed the iguana watermelon, and ate well ourselves at local restaurants every night. Pretty close to heaven.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this villa. We wanted to detach from our busy lives and this location and accommodation was perfect for that. The villa had just enough amenities to be comfortable - kitchen had enough for a simple breakfast or dinner. We used the plunge pool mornings and evenings to cool down and the view was relaxing. Sunsets were beautiful as was the night sky stargazing. A car is a must and the beaches nearby are great for swimming and snorkeling.

Exactly the way that we expected

This was by far one of the best holiday rentals we have ever had. Could not have asked for a better location (if you are after peace, quiet and fewer tourists, Westpunt side of the island is for you) and Lisa + Joel’s house is in the best part of the best corner of Curaçao! We were lucky enough to have been at Jeremy #1 when there were no other visitors next door, which made it feel like we were on our own deserted island. We explored almost all of the beaches nearby as well as the fantastic restaurants, all within minutes’ driving from the house. Joel was a gem who not only waited patiently when our flight arrived HOURS behind schedule our first night to escort us to the house and get us settled in (which was perfect because the west coast is pretty rural and much easier-navigated with a local) but he also saved my butt when I left some important belongings behind at checkout, and met us in town to hand them off to us after the 2nd part of our trip. By far the best, personal service by proprietors that I’ve ever experienced! We’ll definitely return to Curaçao and we wouldn’t dream of booking anywhere else after our stay here. I’m grateful to Lisa + Joel for what they’ve done with the place and how thoughtfully they’ve designed it to have a lower impact on the local environment. I hope Curaçao can maintain its beauty and natural wildness long into the future (we’ve seen other Caribbean islands that have not managed to do so). We fell hard for playa Jeremi & Sol Patch!
