Soggy Pollards

House was great for our extended family of 11. Loved the king beds in 4 of the bedrooms. The fishing peer was used a lot. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was great and the house was fabulous

Everything was exactly as it was advertised. All of the furniture is so nice, the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked, we had 8 people. The views on the balcony are amazing. The pier is set up great.

The house was spacious and spotless, with plenty of TVs in every room. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the ice maker worked perfectly—which is surprisingly rare in Rockport homes. We caught a lot of fish, mostly undersized specks on live shrimp. The pier had plenty of lighting, and the driveway offered lots of space.

This place was great! Clean, spacious and everything was as described. The shuffleboard was a big hit with the adults and kids alike. Although we didn't catch any keepers, we all had fun fishing from the pier as well.

All was wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and has a wonderful view. The beds are sturdy, comfortable, and fitting for an older adult. Check in is simple and Nina is prompt with responses to questions. You all made our weekend a complete huge success.

Each room has a king bed, and the one-bedroom suite features two queen beds and bunk beds, providing a comfortable sleeping arrangement for our group of 13. We were able to catch a few fish at the fishing pier, which added to our overall enjoyment of the stay. The property manager, Nina, was exceptional and made our experience even more pleasant.

New home nicely decorated with all of the essentials provided. Everything works perfectly.The pier is a great place for fishing. Caught a lot of small (under sized) 8-14” speckled trout under the lights at night.Lots of great restaurants within a 10 minute drive.Home is on a dead end street so it’s nice and quiet.One note…the beds are on very tall bases which makes getting on them challenging for average height people.

With the green lights, you can see all the fish, so peaceful and relaxing. We had bad weather one day we spent a lot of time on the top covered deck and also enjoyed playing shuffleboard. 10 out of 10. Can’t wait to return.

House was wonderful. Toilets a little low for handicap persons. Pier lights were poor due to hard to see once it got dark. Kerig coffee maker needs cleaning didn’t make a full cup coffee when cup was selected. Overall it was a good stay

9 men , average age 60 , we come to Rockport every year and usually bring 15 . The place fit our needs and was very clean and everything we needed.

No big fish were caught from the pier but the kids spent the entire time catching crabs and small fish.

Great place and as described.

We had an amzing time at the Soggy Pollards house. The pier is such a great bonus and we loved how it had the hand rail for you to hold onto and the chairs and wooden bench on the pier. We fished and saw dolphins and some big fish. The house is a great size and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor space was nice for cornhole and had a great breeze. Our host was very accommodating and answered quickly to my messages. We would definitely book Soggy Pollards again.

We took our family vacation and stayed at the Soggy Pollards this year. Everything was perfect. The fishing was amazing, the layout of the house was good for a big group, and the communication with Rockport Escapes was 10/10. Anytime I had a question we would get a response in less than 24 hours. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again. This has been our favorite house to stay at in Rockport!

Wonderful Bay House home. Didnt catch too may fish. But chilled and enjoyed games and great pier. We got to see a beautiful rainbow. The home is very comfortable and the Rockport Walmart and HEB were close. We went to Moon Doggies to eat. Soggy Pollards was a wonderful home for us.
